Priority Experience! - This was a wonderful and very worthwhile experience, especially snorkeling in the sea lion colony. The guides, Alex and Christian, were very knowledgeable and friendly. Be sure to bring dry clothes and good towels. Lunch was delicious.

Amazing day - We had the best time with our guide Lorenza and our captain Victor. We saw sea lions, sunfish, dolphins, and humpback whales, not to mention tons of tropical fish. The lunch was delicious as well. Lorenza was passionate about the sea life and provided interesting information along the way. Highly recommend! We will use MTA for future explorations for sure. Thanks for the memories!

Swim in turquoise water, see unique nature and have fun - Our tour guide was knowledgeable, personable and friendly. The trip had us snorkeling with amazingly beautiful fish and a whole colony of sea lions with young ones swimming near us. Water was warm and beautiful. I felt safe and well cared for and even the food was good. I had fun and learned things!

The Best - The best tour by far. The highlight was a private cove on the island. Crystal clear, warm water snorkeling, ceviche was the bomb!!!!!

What an amazing day and experience! - What an amazing day! Our guide Omar was friendly and welcoming from the start! Our boat captain Cody provided smooth sailing for us and had a great eye for finding wildlife! We saw dolphins, whales, multiple species of birds and of course sea lions! The trip was broken up nicely with sightseeing stops and regional knowledge throughout the day. Swimming with the sea lions and snorkeling was amazing, a must do activity in this area. We also had a delicious lunch on a beautiful beach to top off the day! Having guides that were very knowledgeable about the area greatly increased our experience and they were able to make the most out of the day!! I highly recommend MTA, we've been on multiple of their tours and they continue to impress.

Great way to spend a day! - Mana was an excellent guide and Cristian a skilled captain. We enjoyed their chill but competent and informative leadership. Pay attention when they say to bring warm clothes! We didn’t get wet, but it was quite chilly on the way out to the sea lions, and the snorkeling was even more so. Happily, Maia gave us wonderful tea and a cookie after the swim. The lunch stop was beautiful. Be sure to let them know in advance if you are not a ceviche fan and they will provide an alternative. Great way to see the larger bay. We highly recommend this tour. We don’t usually do tours, preferring to do our own version, but this wouldn’t have been possible and it was worth the money.

Awesome trip to swim with the sea lions and more... - We booked a private tour to Isla Espiritu Island with MTA and had a great experience. We saw some humpback whales along the way (not super common) and stopped to see blue footed boobies which was cool. The ride out to the island takes at least an hour and the ocean was a bit choppy that day but we (and especially the kids) enjoy the boat ride. Swimming with the sea lions was awesome and well worth the trip. The young pups are very playful and get very close. I was also pleasantly surprised with the number of colorful fish you can see snorkeling around the island with the sea lions. We stopped at a small secluded beach for lunch which was delicious (homemade ceviche). On the return we stopped off to see the frigate island. Overall was a great trip and well worth devoting a day to.

Beautiful destination but watch out for rough waters and jellyfish - Our guide, Maja, was great. Very knowledgeable, on time, very organized. If you go out with her, you'll learn a lot. The beach we stopped at for lunch was stunning and the ceviche was delicious. Definitely worth doing with a few caveats: Big swells on the boat ride out meant a rough ride. Snorkeling with the sea lions would have been far more enjoyable if there weren't tiny jellyfish everywhere. Everyone on our boat got stung and it was very unpleasant. If I had known, I would have worn a longsleeve swim shirt and tights - so that is my recommendation for anyone: cover your body as much as possible in the water, at least at this time of year.
