Amazing waterfall - It’s beautiful. I would recommend going to both zone 1 and 2. The water is a little cold but still worth swimming. Better to keep a pair of sandals or swim shoes, it’s rocky near the falls and slippery. Worth the fee.

Amazing - Beautiful experience!! Those 500 steps were so worth it. It’s not bad at all because I’m very active but many people, including one of my best friends, did kind of struggle coming back up. All in all, amazing experience. We were self guided and we just went and enjoyed the waterfall and took photos. The water is ice cold!

Beautiful Waterfalls - This was a beautiful experience. Admission was $20 and well worth it. You can stay as long as you want . Just so you know, it’s 530 down and 530 back up, quite a hike but you can take all the time you need. The water was about 70 Fahrenheit so quite refreshing and beautiful. Highly recommend this tour if you are in La Fortuna.

Very cool experience and... - Very cool experience and very busy, but that didn’t bother us. My 66 year-old mom and I swam at the base of the waterfall. It’s SUPER cold and the water is powerful. There are lifeguards to ensure no one gets hurt. It was worth the business for the experience.

I wish I had planned to... - I wish I had planned to stay longer but I had another tour scheduled. Wear good water shoes (closed toe or sneakers) flip flops would not be ideal.

More than just the waterfall - Family of four with two teenagers. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. The path to arrive at the waterfall is almost as noteworthy as the waterfall itself, take some moments to just look up and out and take it all in. Breathtaking.

Tour that delivers what promises - The trip to the Cachoeira La Fortuna with lunch was a very good experience and within the expectations. The waterfall is really beautiful, surrounded by lots of nature. It was a pity that that wonderful crystal water was not present, because it was a rainy day, yet it was worth every step of the descent and the rise. The staircase requires physical preparation, but everything is well structured. The visual completely compensates for the effort. The lunch also met the expectations well, tasty and in the right amount after the activity, being a great break to recharge and experience nature. The tour delivers exactly what it promises. A great choice for those who visit La Fortuna and want to see one of the famous landscapes of the region.
