Greatest tour guide ever - Nice and easy float down the rivers. Our guide Five was our guide. Was also on bus with us. Very knowledgeable about everything. Easy trip for all ages. Had a fantastic time. Saw iguanas, monkeys, toucans and a crocodile. I highly recommend.

Pleasant float through real Costa Rica - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Penas Blancas river float. Six people in the raft with guide Alejandro - who was excellent! Alejandro entertainingly shared natural history on the van trip to the start and back as well as on the float, all very interesting! We saw (and heard!) several groups of Howler monkeys, also iguanas in the trees and one right next to the path when we got out, several crocs, a turtle, and a few birds. It rained lightly a few times, but that's Costa Rica! Shoes/feet got wet from puddles in the bottom of the raft. At the end, had a light snack and then a cocoa lesson with a little tasting, an interesting and nice surprise finish!

Great experience for families! - We loved this river safari tour! The guides were professional and friendly, and the experience was organized and easy from pickup to drop off at our hotel. The boat is a smooth ride and easy (the guides do most of the paddling) but your feet will get wet. We saw sooo many animals, including howler monkeys (a group jumped across the river right over our boat), crocodiles, iguanas, bats, and many species of birds. Our guide was great keeping our kids (ages 6 and 8) entertained. The boat ride itself is about 2.5 hours and they had a snack (tortillas/cheese/plantains) and chocolate tasting at the end. A really great family activity in Fortuna!

Peña’s River Float with Carlos - This was by far the best experience on our trip. Carlos was our guide. We can’t say enough good things about his energy, knowledge and excitement! We saw so much wildlife and Carlos made sure we had enough time along the way to see everything and capture great photos!

Excellent safari float with experienced guides, highly recommend! - The safari float was amazing! It was a very peaceful journey along the river. Shout out to our guide Alexis, he gave very clear instructions, and very detailed information on the wildlife and surrounding areas. We spotted crocodiles, howler monkeys, toucans, and many other animals. Alexis was knowledgable and funny, and we felt very well taken care of. The driver, main guide Warner and the others (I didn't get all the names, sorry!) who gave a Cacao demonstration afterwards were great, and the snack was a welcome bonus. Fantastic work!

Safari boat tour - Such an awesome experience. So much to see and learn and to hear from the rainforest. It was a unique experience that i would absolutely do again.

Great Ride Down the River - We rode with Carlos as our tour guide . Great information about the river and the area

Relaxing boat tour - Relaxed boat tour, we saw some animals and enjoyed the tranquility in nature very much. Our guide Alexis was great.
If you are looking for a physical adventure is not quite right here, as we did not have to paddle once ourselves.

Poor management - The tour is good but on the total tour with transportation took extra 2 hours because they decided to book to tours for one family back to back without any consideration for other passengers several individuals lost their next arrangements
Many complained but the damage was done

Bad service - I went with my parents and my girlfriend the tour was very interesting but for my opinion it was too messy, the guide had no good information, we felt sorry for him. I asked different people and they told me the same thing, they used different guidance. It is not worth it for the Price it pays, they could offer quality in their services, when we arrived at the cafe place, my Mother was delighted very good the snack, she told us a smell in her cheese but we thought it was her business, but when we arrived my mother and my partner felt very bad, and we went to Sannar and a doctor told them it looked like food poisoning.
We appreciate the experience, especially the way in which we were asked for almost obligatory tips.
