Sloths and frogs and spiders, oh my! - Booked a “twilight” tour thru my hostel here that does sloth in the afternoon and then night tour. It was super fun! Sloth sighting not guaranteed because sometimes they’re rolled up and sleeping during this time but we saw a few! Cool seeing some frogs and bugs too. We didn’t have rain so couldn’t see too much of the wildlife. But our tour guide was super funny and knowledgeable - I didn’t get his name but he was older with glasses and so so funny!!

Night Walk with many animals - We had a successful tour thanks to José. At the beginning we discovered frogs and river crabs. The highlight was to find the most venomous snake in Costa Rica, which was looking for prey in its nest. But the most beautiful thing we liked was the baby sloth, which was two trees next to his father and was currently very active. At the end there was even a red-eyed frog. José tried very hard, shared his equipment like telescope, etc. and and knew his way around the course very well. Overall an exciting guided tour. Thank you José! Pura Vida!

Exceptional Night Walk with an Amazing Guide - We had a wonderful night tour in La Fortuna with Abel. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about the rainforest, which made the entire experience come alive after dark. Abel has an amazing eye for spotting wildlife—we saw frogs, insects, and other nocturnal creatures we would have completely missed on our own. He explained everything clearly and shared fascinating details about the ecosystem, all while making sure everyone was comfortable and engaged. The tour felt relaxed, well-paced, and genuinely special. Highly recommend Abel if you want an authentic and memorable night tour in La Fortuna.

You can't see anything. - The guide very (eli) friendly but very expensive to see very little, we were all the time looking for a frog that was never found
