This tour offers the opportunity to explore both the Arenal Hanging Bridges and the La Fortuna Waterfall. The journey begins at the hanging bridges, located within a 240-hectare (600-acre) protected reserve. Participants will embark on a 3 km (2 mile) circuit featuring 16 bridges, with lengths ranging from 5 to 100 meters (16 to 328 ft.) and heights reaching up to 60 meters (196 ft.). An optional trail leads to a small waterfall, perfect for capturing stunning photographs. This remarkable primary rainforest is inhabited by a diverse array of birds, plants, reptiles, mammals, and insects, which a knowledgeable naturalist guide will help identify amidst the lush foliage.

The next destination is the La Fortuna Waterfall. A 15-minute hike descends to the waterfall’s base, where visitors can either marvel at the breathtaking scenery or take a refreshing swim. The tour concludes with a delightful traditional lunch at “La Finquita” Restaurant.
