Tour of the volcano on horseback - Going to the volcano on horseback was a unique experience! Despite the fear the guides were too friendly and helpful, they cared a lot for me to enjoy it and that everything went well! I recommend it full

A wonderful day in the rainforest - We did the zip line and horseback ride through the river. It was an all day adventure and all the guides were fun and informative. We had an easy booking experience w/Reynoldo. He gave us an exciting and accurate description of each activity and helped us shape our tour to ensure the most fun. He also made sure to go over the rules and things needed(closed toed shoes)It rained throughout most of our time but it was super worth it. Our first activity was zip lining and wow was it amazing! The guides(Kevin, Jordy, Gabriel, and the crew) were all excellent in giving us the info we needed to feel comfortable on the line. They helped us with all the gear and took pics of us(pics are and extra charge, you get about 35 pics for the whole experience). They are all very funny and kind but most of all helpful. Each experience was around 3 hrs with and 1 1/2 break for lunch. Trust me and don’t skip the opportunity to eat at Raul Castano, order everything it was all delicious! The little cookie they gave me with my vanilla cappuccino was delightful and the tuna tartare was sooo good. I also had grilled octopus w/ veggies and a plantain 🤤 😋 After lunch we met up w/ Victor for our horseback ride. We initially wanted to go on the volcano tour but the weather didn’t allow good visibility so we did the river tour. Be ready to get a little wet or choose to get fully in the river like me. The horses get to take a break when you get in the river and they take mini breaks along the way. I rode “Negra” and “Mariachi” , “Rocio” were also on the tour. Victor gave really good directions on how to ride and control your horse and was so patient with helping us on and off the horse. He let us stop and take pics/video and pointed out the different animals/ flowers and rivers/waterfalls. He made animal noises throughout the trail to coax out the monkeys/birds. He taught us a lot of different words and helped me with my Spanish. He really made the tour feel special for us and I definitely had fun laughing with him. Bring a waterproof case/cover to put your phone in so you don’t have to worry about it get wet but it was also helpful having it strapped to me taking videos while on the zip line and the horse because you will need both of your hands. The horses know the trail and will go from a slow peace to a full on trot throughout the trail. At one point “Negra” and “Mariachi” had a little race and gave us a thrilling ride back. We saw animals/waterfalls and swam/walked in the river. It was a beautiful experience a definite 10/10 even in the rain. They provide wifi and lockers (both clutch). They truly abide by and honor the PURA VIDA mindset. I can’t wait to come back!!!

So fun! - My husband and I did a volcano and hanging bridges tour. Our guide, Ramon, was amazing! He was kind, funny, knowledgeable, and really took his time to show us and teach us about the area. He even went out of his way to show us a mommy and baby sloth. Would highly recommend this tour!
