Ended up being the only... - Ended up being the only one booked, so was just me and guide. Easy hike up to viewpoint while looking for wildlife and learning about the area. Only managed to see snakes as raining quite a lot. Unfortunately we weren't able to see Arenal due to weather. Hot spring river was a nice way to end the tour.

Great tour in Arenal - Amazing experience, Joseph was a very joyful tour guide, very funny, very friendly and helpful. We visited the waterfall, the Arenal Volcano and the hot springs.

A must do hike - Jhonny made sure everyone in our group understood the much knowledge he shared with us, took his time explaining and nade sure nobody was left behind. He was also very passionate about taking the very best professional pictures of the wildlife and was nice enough to have us send him his email to share them :)

Hike Volcano - Incredible - Loved it! Norlan our guide was excellent, shared the story of the volcano, and told us about the flora and fauna of the forest, a beautiful view upon reaching the base of the volcano! Lunch in the same forest was a touch that I really liked. Then we went to the river of thermal water which is also a beautiful place to be in contact with nature. 100% recommend it.

Unforgettable Arenal Tour – Exceptional Guide & Experience! - We had an absolutely amazing experience on this tour that included Arenal Volcano, sloth sightings, the hanging bridges, and the hot springs. Every part of the day was well-organized, beautiful, and beyond our expectations.
A special shoutout to our guide Sergio, who was hands down one of the best guides we’ve ever had. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond—he even carried our 3-year-old son all the way up and back during the hike! That level of care and dedication made the experience even more memorable and stress-free for our family.
The sloth sightings were magical, the views of the volcano were breathtaking, and the hot springs were the perfect way to relax after the adventure. If you’re visiting Costa Rica, I highly recommend booking this tour. You’ll get a great mix of nature, wildlife, and genuine hospitality. Thank you, Sergio and team, for an unforgettable day!

ULTIMATE La Fortuna Experience: Read Below - If you are looking for the ULTIMATE La Fortuna experience, you need to experience this tour.
From the beginning, this organization was very communicative with easy directions to follow. The staff spoke English perfectly, and were very friendly. Our tour guide Mauricio made our experience. He was 11/10 fantastic, blew our expectations out of the water.
Firstly, Mauricio is so knowledgeable. He taught us about the culture, the plants, the food, the history of La Fortuna and the beautiful harmony between nature and mankind. He took us to many spots to experience natures wild fruits, edible plants, and offerings- stressing the importance of how nature can be so giving. Not only was he knowledgeable , he was SO personable. I felt as if I’d know him for years, he really made us feel safe and taken care of. He made sure to point out all the amazing animals and brought a scope and binoculars for my partner and I to see everything up close.
He brought us to off-grid hot springs with caves and coves that were so special and unique.
The driver was also very accommodating with our requests.
For anyone looking for the ultimate hiking, sight-seeing, personable and safe experience- Arenal tours and Mauricio are the BEST choice.
This tour is great for those who are moderately athletic at the least, capable of an incline hike.
However, absolutely doable if you are less athletic, it will just take 2-3 hours of your time.
Thank you again to Arenal Tours and especially Mauricio for making our first trip to Costarica unforgettable.

Amazing person tour - Booked this and was surprised when we arrived it was a private tour. The guide was supper friendly and very knowledgeable about the volcanos history and the land. He also shared some local fresh mango with us at the end of our hike. Additionally the hot spring was nice and warm.

The one trip you must do! - We did the La Fortuna 1 Day tour which included: Waterfall / Volcano / Mistico Hanging Bridges and Hot Spring and what an adventure!
We got picked up and warmly greeted by Norlando who was so knowledgeable and entertaining. He first took us to the Waterfall and then Volcano followed by lunch and told us some of the facts around the sights as well as showing and talking us through the rainforest and animals that he spotted. It was a very memorable experience, and NoR...lando made us laugh constantly on our hike.
Lunch was a 'typical Costa Rican' of rice, plantain and a choice of pork, chicken, fish or vegetarian with some welcomed iced tea after the hike.
After lunch some of our group went straight to the hot springs where we went on to the Mistico hanging bridges. Our guide on this part of the tour was Joseph, who again was super knowledgeable and passionate about all the vegetation and creatures he spotted. He bounced from one sighting to another with enthusiasm and helped all of us get great pictures from his telescope. The tour was longer than I expected which was testament to the amount of things Joseph spotted on the way, and we came away tired but with a lot of photos and info. We then went on from here to the natural thermal river for about 30 minutes before being dropped back at the hotel.
The whole day was filled with so much information and sights to see and if you only do one activity in La Fortuna then this would be it!
There is a fair amount of walking on this tour so I would suggest you need a reasonable level of fitness as there are 500 steps down/up to the waterfall and then a hike up to the base of the volcano in high levels of humidity.
