Perfect morning spent with nature. - Beautiful hike! Strenuous and challenging enough on a well marked path.

Red trail was scenic and just enough challenge! - The path was well marked. Not just a flat trail but a little skill exercise needed!

Great hike for everyone. - Great hike with something for everyone! Arenal 1968 Volcano Trail offers three different trail lengths, so you can choose the level that best fits your time and energy. The paths are well-maintained and accessible, making it enjoyable even for casual hikers. We took red trail and really enjoyed the hike. One of the highlights is the beautiful restaurant at the end with delicious food and perfect for relaxing and taking in the stunning views of Arenal Volcano after your hike. If you take your time and stay observant, you may even spot some local wildlife along the way. We saw different types of frogs and even few monkeys! Definitely worth a visit!

Great and accessible hike - Excellent experience even if it rained at times but the path is easy and accessible, even the red one. The restaurant at the end of the walk was delicious with excellent views of volcano and the lake. We also saw some beautiful tucans.

Great place - Great hike options, grounds are well maintained and many shaded areas… view from snack bar/restaurant is breath taking! Staff is very friendly! Come with comfortable shoes and ready for medium to slightly difficult hiking

Arenal 1968 experience 👍🏻 - Alexander and Jeremy took great care of us after a beautiful hike in the foothills of the volcano. The views from the Volcano from the restaurant were amazing. Great place for a drink or food!

Use the medium road. - It is a relatively simple journey, some up and down but relatively flat most of the way, so it is easy to walk. It is also a very well marked path so even if you go without a guide you cannot miss. There are 3 roads, we took the longest because on the map it looks like it passes by a lake, but the lake it passes by was all moldy and not so pleasant to the eye, so we felt it was not worth the extra turn.

Overpriced and badly signposted - Extortionate pricing to go for a walk with no markings, information or signage. Would expect more

Terrible signage and very expensive - Trail itself isn’t too bad, but there are zero signs along the way, got lost multiple times and no map provided or anything like this. For the extortionate rate expect more

Address Not Found within Arenal Volcano National Park! - Unfortunately, this experience was never had by my family of four because we could not locate the address given on the Viator booking. In order to enter the park, we had to wait in a long line and pay an additional amount to enter, when the whole point of this purchase was to save both time and money. This is idea is a misconception. Just go the usual route of park entry and enjoy!!
