Great day around the islands - Great trip snorkeling and seeing Two islands. Carlos our host was knowledgeable and explained about the area, made everyone feel comfortable and was fun to be with. We saw a pod of dolphins but never got to see the orcas who must have been around! Be aware thwt the lunch is a sub sandwich and bag of chips on a beach with no cover or chairs. Another group parked on the same beach provided a tent and chairs for the participants.

Snorkeling with a little mother nature on the way. - We just went out to go on a snorkeling trip and it turned into a memory of a lifetime. Carlos and Armando spotted a pod of dolphins moving really fast and as we got closer they spotted Orcas chasing them. For at least 30 minutes we had at least 7 Orcas hunting these juvenile dolphins 🐬 all around us. Captain Carlos was explaining how the Orcas hunt in packs and how they overcome their pray.. We then went to honeymoon Bay to snorkel and have a great lunch. Thanks to Carlos and Armando for an experience of a lifetime.

Danzante Island & Snorkel Tour - and Orca/Dolphin site seeing - I’ve come to realize that Viator is the best option for excursions. We’ve booked cruise excursions and almost all the time they turn out average. Every time we’ve booked through Viator they have been amazing. On this particular excursion we booked the Danzante Island & Snorkel tour through Loreto Baja Tours that picked us up on the beach of the Villa de Palmar resort hotel. Carlos was leading this tour and the wealth of information he has rivals Jacques Cousteau. By the end of the tour his new Nic name was Jacques mini me. The funny thing is he knew Jacques Cousteau. Armando the captain noticed some strange water formation about 1000 meters in front of us and we proceeded directly to it. It was Orca’s chasing Dolphins. We parked smack in the middle of it and for the next 30 minutes witnessed one of the best nature events we could ever imagine. We had Orca’s so close to the boat we got wet from their blow hole. During this entire event Carlos was reciting everything about what was going on and why. The snorkeling and amazing hand made lunch on the beach topped it off. We even booked Loreto Baja Tours the following day for fishing - caught 10 Yellow Tail at least 30 pounds each. If you come to Loreto and want to have an education about the environment while having the most amazing time at whatever you book, you will be missing the boat so to speak if you don’t give this company a shot.

Danzante Tour of Islands of Loreto - We took a boat out of the Villa de Palmar Loreto resort with Danzante Tours. We had the pleasure of going with Captain Carlos. You will know him, he is a great young man and he is 6’7”, so hard to miss. He is so very knowledgeable about the bird species, topography, the sea life, cactus names. Every question I had about the surrounding, he knew how to answer with great details . He took us to great snorkeling places and beautiful small beaches. Besides my wife and I, there was a couple with two children. Carlo’s was so nice with them and all the adults. Danzante Tours four tour is beautiful, they provide the lunch with sandwiches, munchies etc . And all the snorkeling gear. Captain Carlo’s kept an eye out for sea life and spotted a surfacing manta ray , so he stopped and the manta swan right up to the boat. Capitán Carlis was the best .

Unforgettable Loreto Experience - Amazing tour. Carlos and Armando really know the area and will take you on an unforgettable adventure, showing you around one of the most beautiful places in the world. We played with dolphins, snorkeled, hiked and enjoyed a light lunch at a postcard perfect cove. They picked us up at the Villa Del Palmar beach, but can probably pick you up from town of Puerto Escondido. Suggest touching base with them via whats-app prior to booking - they are happy to answer any questions. Please take into account that I have lived in this area before and a half day tour is really just scratching the surface of what is out there, but is still really is worth it and was the first time my wife and I brought my 5 y/o daughter and 8 y/o son. They said "best vacation ever."

Fantastic snorkeling trip with Carlos - Carlos was our captain that picked us up at Villas del Palmar. He was very friendly, confident and shared his knowledge of the islands and history along with taking us to 2 nice snorkeling spots. He was helpful and supportive of those with little experience, and made the entire trip one to remember. When coming back to the resort we came upon a pod of dolphins, which he followed slowly so we could capture some fantastic pictures and also shared his knowledge of the dolphin. One of the best snorkeling excursions I have ever been on.
