Tip Top Oaxacan Tacos - A large group of college friends decided to celebrate a friends big 50 birthday in Mexico. We
live in Texas so Mexico is an easy getaway. Huatulco is quickly becoming our favorite destination. I was the "cruise director" for one outing.
Did I score big! I met a local woman on the plane and she was a wealth of knowledge. She told me about a new tour called Tip Top Tacos. We are accustomed to Tex/Mex food, but Mexican food is different. This tour was not just street tacos. We started at a beautiful restaurant and ended at an amazing restaurant with truly original twists on Mexican/Oaxacan cuisine. The chef was available and answered our questions and gave us a quick lesson on what makes Oaxacan food different from food in the other 32 states in Mexico. (There was a stop on the tour for street tacos.)
All of us were delighted with our tour. Maryrose (our guide) made the evening special as she knows how to have fun and she is packed with knowledge of Huatulco. Go on this tour early in your stay so you can enjoy the TTT tour and garner Maryrose's tips as she was very generous with sharing information.

Lovely Tour - We had a super tour with MaryRose, touring restaurants and taco carts. Fabulous cocktails accompanied our food.
We went to places we otherwise would not have considered.

No such thing as too many tacos - A taco tour of Crucecita can start and stop in many ways, but Maryrose has curated an exceptional experience that flirts with everything from haute cuisine to the humble taco carts, always delicious bites. A wonderful adaptable guide, you will have a warm and personally tailored experience, we could not recommend it more, thank you for the amazing evening!

Best food tour we have ever been on!! - Alla and Jorge were fantastic hosts who treated us to some of the best foods Huatulco has to offer. Do not eat before you go. So much amazing food from Tacos to avocado sake martinis you won’t be disappointed. Such a fun night. I would highly recommend this tour.

An eclectic taco tour - Just returned from a lovely evening exploring some amazing restaurants offering some amazing tacos and drinks.
It’s obvious that Maryrose loves what she does and really wants you to have a tip top experience. We visited some fantastic restaurants that we wouldn’t have found ourselves and sampled a variety of types of tacos. It made for an evening that will be a big part of the memories we’ll have of this trip! Glad we took this tour early in our vacation - we have time to go back and visit these restaurants again!

Perfect outing for food and culture - Delicious and a perfect blend of authentic and unique! This taco tour was a fantastic way to experience the food scene in town after being at a resort. We sampled a variety of local specialties at hidden gems, learned about the ingredients and cooking methods, and even got some insider tips from our guide Mary Rose. Highly recommended!

A Must-Do Culinary Adventure! - If you're visiting Huatulco and love a good food adventure, this taco tour is a must! We sampled 4 incredible spots, each offering something unique and would not have found on our own. From restaurants to taco stands to a final end in fine dining experience, this tour had it all!
Each stop brought a different vibe offering creative dishes and cervezas aka beers:) The sushi taco (no fish) was my fave and nice unexpected surprise stop.
As a bonus, we even explored an additional spot for an authentic local cocktail—Mezcal lovers will not be disappointed!
Whether you’re in the mood for street food, a fine dining experience, or a local drink, Mary Rose gives you the best of all worlds and will customize your tour!
Verdict: 5 stars—delicious, diverse, and unforgettable! Will be back!

Taco tour - We had a great time on this taco tour. All the tacos we had were fantastic and some very unique. Mary Rose really did a great job explaining the town of Hualtuco and the culture here. Rosie her assistant was excellent as well helping making everything run smooth. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!!! Mary Rose did an excellent job making a beautiful memory for our group of friends. We will definitely return and explore more adventures with Mary Rose.

Best Taco Tour!!! - Amazing experience!! Mary Rose took us to places we never would’ve found on our own. The best tacos!! We had a great experience with the food and drink!! We wanted for nothing… I’m so happy my girlfriend found this tour for us!! I wish we would’ve done it sooner!! We booked at the end of our trip… book early and don’t be afraid to leave your resort!!!

Tacos Great but Stop there! - The tacos were all very good! …as for the rest of tour that’s where it ended for us. Over priced for what is offered! Yes drinks are included but not all of us want alcoholic beverages.
Maryrose was kind but struggled as a guide … she is a local (not from MX and Spanish speaking somewhat?)
