La Bufadora - After a 45-minute transport from the city and port, meet the friendly guides, gear up, and head to the kayak launch point. Participants will be equipped with life jackets and safety gear, and provided with a dry bag for storing valuables in the kayak. The guide will give kayaking and safety instructions before embarking on a 90-minute paddle past small islets to the Geyser, capturing stunning photos along the way.
At the halfway point, visitors will approach the renowned La Bufadora and can pose for pictures. A private guide will accompany the group throughout the experience. Ocean conditions can vary, with some rolling waves expected, especially later in the day.
On the return journey, there is an option to request a 30-minute stop for tacos or souvenir shopping. Additionally, the tour can be customized with other activities, such as exploring the Bufadora market, horseback riding on the beach, and ziplining.
The estuary route inside the peninsula is ideal for children and those wishing to stay dry. Groups with children under 10 must take the Estuary route. Children aged 10-12 on the La Bufadora Route must share a kayak.
The Estuary route offers a peaceful paddle in a protected bay with local flora, birds, and beaches.

Best part of our vacation - We had a wonderful time our guides Esau and Jordan took great care of us. We felt safe out on the water with our kids and learned a ton. We definitely want to come back. We highly recommend this adventure.

The Absolute Best Guides Make for the Best Experience! - I cannot put in words how amazing this entire experience was for me, my daughter, and her friend. First, our driver Genaro was the absolute best. He spoke great English, helped me improve my bad Spanish, translated for us at all our stops, and answered my endless stream of questions about all things Ensenada. Our kayak guide, Esau, was incredible! He has a degree in environmental biology and was able to share so many interesting facts about the marine life and formation of the unique cliff and cave formations in Baja. I cannot wait to come back and do another tour. 10/10 for all!

If I could give 100 stars I would - We arrived in Encenada via a cruise ship. Our driver was Jesus (Chewy). He was waiting for us at the designated pickup area and was prompt and friendly. It was a 45-minute drive to La Bufadora through some beautiful mountain scenery. Once we arrived, we were met by Jessie, the owner of the kayak excursion and Esau who was our guide. We were briefed on safety as well as how to use the paddle and what to expect once we were ready to load up in the kayak. Esau’s passion for the water as well as the geyser showed and he really made the experience amazing! We highly recommend this and will definitely do it again.

Wonderful kayak adventure. - Really enjoyed the kayak tour. Great excursion. A nice mix of moderate exercise and beautiful weather. The guides were very knowledgeable and truly love the area. Would highly recommend.

Kayak Tour of La Bufadora - ⸻
I recently went on a kayaking excursion with Ensenada Excursiond, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our driver to La Bufadora, Jesús, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable—he shared great recommendations for restaurants, activities, and more around Ensenada, which we really appreciated.
Our kayak guide, Esau, was equally impressive. He gave clear, helpful instructions and always prioritized our safety throughout the trip. One of the highlights was seeing the blowhole (La Bufadora) from the water—it was absolutely exhilarating!
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

Great Alternative to Official Cruise Excursion! - We went on La Bufadora Kayak excursion and had a great time. Oscar was the best! He met us just outside the cruise pier (instructions were great), and transported us to La Bufadora. We always felt safe with Oscar and enjoyed his commentary. Kayaking was well organized and La Bufadora was impressive. Bring American cash if you want to shop at the stalls afterwards. 10/10 would recommend this excursion. And be sure to ask for Oscar, he had very helpful tips and information!

Fun bachelorette idea - We had a fantastic bachelorette experience while kayaking through Ensenada Excursions! Simple and easy booking/ deposit and open communication via email and WhatsApp. We were even driven to and from La Bufadora back into Ensenada. Once we arrived, our guides quickly eased any of our fears about heading into the open water. Since it was a calm day, we were able to get up close to La Bufadora and experience its natural beauty all narrated by our guide! I would definitely recommend this experience and will be looking into other adventures offered by this company!
