If the Hozugawa River boat ride is canceled due to high water levels or bad weather, a 5,000 yen refund will be issued, and the tour will instead visit Kinkakuji Temple, concluding at Kyoto Station. (If the boat ride proceeds, the tour will end at Arashiyama.)
During the season, enjoy the splendid cherry blossoms in spring or the vibrant autumn foliage! Even outside these peak periods, the beautiful scenery, views from the Sagano Romantic Train, and the lush nature surrounding the Hozugawa River can be enjoyed.
※If the boat ride is canceled, the itinerary will be adjusted as follows:
- Kinkakuji Temple Sightseeing (Admission fee included / 60 minutes)
- 12:10 Arrive at Kyoto Station - Tour concludes
- Arashiyama - The tour concludes at Arashiyama after the boat ride.

- Children under 80cm in height or 0-2 years old are not permitted to join this tour due to the safety regulations of the Hozugawa River Cruise.
- Please note that cherry blossoms and autumn leaves may not be seen due to weather conditions.
- Wheelchair is not accessible.

Just do it - Our guide was named Shelley was amazing. So friendly and helpful. The trip was also fantastic wonderful scenery and brilliant crew.

Great tour guide - Shelley was an amazing tour guide. Although the actual tour company were unclear with the fact our tour didn't include the boat tour, Shelly was amazing in helping us secure boat tickets for the day.. we had a great tour because of this.

Romantic train and boat ride - It was a good and beautiful experience with the cherry blossoms. The length of the tour was good and we have time to do things after! We were dropped off at Arashiyama which is a great spot to check out the bamboo forest and Fushimi Inari Shrine.

Sagano Romantic Train - We enjoyed the Sagano Romantic Train ride. We managed to see Sakura trees in the mountains and it was such a beautiful experience. We booked a tour with H.I.S. via GetYourGuide and Taka was our guide. Everything was well handled by him and it was fuss free. Very pleasant experience !

Best Tour Ever in Japan! - I joined this tour last week and it was absolutely amazing. The guide was also very kind and cheerful person. She really looked after us the whole time and gave us the best, most professional explanations about all the sights. In addition, The timing was just perfect because the autumn leaves were totally stunning! We also saw them from the train and boat and these scenery were so memorable. Moreover, I ate buffet at the lunch time, there were tons of options such as vegetable, fries, some Japanese dishes, traditional foods in Kyoto ( maybe?) and sweets. All foods were so delicious and high- quality , I have to say, the lunch time felt a little too short... Anyway, The lovely weather and good temperature, it was a perfect day. (Quick Tip! The train and boat were a bit chilly because of the windows, so definitely bring a scarf or a jacket just in case!) Thank you for such a good memory in Japan, these experience definitely be my precious one thorough this trip.
