Book it - This was so fun and knowledge. We did the 2 hours and had a great time learning all different kinds of ninja skills. Would recommend.

My teenage son and I... - My teenage son and I joined another pair of travelers in our particular reservation. Once we were dressed in the traditional garb that we all know and love (assisted by the instructor and helper) we were off to the races, where we learned about different techniques and were able to try out different weapons (of course shuriken throwing was a favorite!). If you grew up watching ninja movies like I did, this would be a treat, but according to my son, even if you didn’t, it was still pretty fun!

Total blast! - We all had a blast (two 21 year olds and two 50-somethings)! We learned quite a bit and loved being instructed on the technical aspects. We laughed a lot and enjoyed our instructor’s teaching style, patience and humor. Highly recommend if you want to bring out your inner ninja!

Fun activity for those interested in ninja and ninja history - Super fun interactive experience. You not only get to act out fun and silly scenarios with the instructors, you get hands on time with different training weapons as well as some target practice with popular weapons from a ninjas historical arsenal.

Ninja Dojo -2hr lesson - Me and my husband had an amazing time at the Ninja Dojo! From the moment we arrived, Hano and Junji were welcoming and really brought the ninja theme to life. The experience was both fun and educational — we got to learn about ninja history, try on authentic costumes, and even practice ninja skills like throwing shuriken, using ninja weapons and yoga/sneaking techniques.
The interactive activities were definitely a highlight,It’s perfect for both kids and adults. and we had plenty of time to enjoy each part of the experience.
Highly recommend this if you’re looking for something unique to do in Kyoto Japan!

Interesting and fun experience - We can absolutely recommend the ninja training. The ninjitsu trainer (who not only teaches tourists but also real students and works as a guide on the side) first gave us general information about the way of life of the ninja/shinoubi after dressing in hearty ninja costume, then we ourselves were allowed to talk about: Ninja gang, hiding behind a secret door and of course trying different weapons. Finally, the photo shoot. The shop is also very interesting: there are not only tourist souvenirs, but also antique weapons with "combat experience".

Great Time With Family - We had an amazing time at the Dojo.. We spent 12 days in Japan, and this was definitely one of the highlights of the entire trip!! I would recommend going to this experience..

Fun for the whole family. - A very informative and fun experience. The whole family enjoyed it and it was a highlight of our time in Kyoto. The instructor Sho was very patient with the kids and made it a lot of fun.
