A serene and meaningful Kyoto experience - This tour was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our time in Kyoto. Visiting Mount Hiei and Enryaku-ji felt incredibly peaceful and spiritual, with breathtaking scenic views along the way. The atmosphere was calm and refreshing, a perfect escape from the busier tourist spots. Hiyoshi Shrine was equally impressive, with its beautiful architecture and tranquil surroundings. The guide, Justin was knowledgeable and shared insightful explanations about the history, culture, and religious significance of the sites, which really deepened our appreciation of the experience. Everything was well organized, the pace was comfortable, and we never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore a quieter, more reflective side of Kyoto while learning about its rich spiritual heritage.

Highlight of our trip to Japan. - My husband and I knew that during our three week trip to Japan we wanted to book some guided day trips. We are so glad we found this one. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. Our guide Justin was very knowledgeable and personable. It was just us on the tour, so we were fortunate to have him all to ourselves for the whole day. The "leg burner" portion of the trip lived up to the description, but is was so worth it for the views. The views on this day trip are beyond spectacular. We would highly recommend this day trip to anyone looking to get off the beaten path in the Kyoto area.
