• Shijo Dori - On Shijo-dori, participants will relax at one of the numerous coffee shops to receive a briefing on the tour itinerary, the ramen selections, and an overview of Kyoto’s ramen history.
• Nishiki Market Shopping District - Accompanied by the guide, participants will explore the vicinity of Nishiki Market, which boasts an impressive number of high-quality ramen shops. Although the market itself is not included in the tour, the group will pass through and receive recommendations for future visits (if there’s still room for more!).

Join the Insider Kyoto Ramen Tour to explore the city’s remarkable ramen culture! Delve into both traditional and contemporary ramen styles with the guidance of our knowledgeable expert.

Participants will visit two distinct ramen establishments, each offering a unique experience. One will serve a classic Kyoto ramen, while the other will present a modern twist. Each serving is smaller than usual, approximately half the size of a regular bowl. At the start of the tour, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with the guide, who will share insights into the origins of Kyoto ramen and outline the tour’s ramen route, including the shops to be visited.

• Infants can join for free but will share food with other group members. If you’d like them to have their own portions, just let us know and we’ll be happy to arrange it for an additional cost.
