- Fushimi Inari Taisha - Among the approximately 30,000 Inari shrines in Japan, Fushimi Inari Taisha stands as the principal shrine dedicated to Inari, the Shinto deity of rice. This shrine is famous for its Senbon Torii, a series of thousands of vermilion red torii gates that form a breathtaking and immersive tunnel-like path up the sacred Mount Inari.
Since its founding in 711 AD, over 1,300 years ago, people have come here to pray for abundant harvests, business success, family safety, and the fulfillment of various wishes.
- Nara Park - Nara Park is a must-visit location in Nara City and is one of Japan’s oldest parks. Spanning 660 hectares, it is famous for its free-roaming deer and renowned temples. Despite its small size, the shrine boasts a long history, originally established as a purification shrine for imperial princesses appointed as priestesses for Ise Shrine.
Nonomiya Shrine is known for assisting and interceding on behalf of women, attracting many female visitors seeking love, children, and safe childbirth. Many of the omamori available at the shrine reflect the theme of women’s happiness, with a variety of amulets offered at the shrine office.
