- Arashiyama - Known for its stunning bamboo forest, the area is filled with subtle green hues and sunlight filtering through, creating exceptional beauty. The gentle rustling of leaves and the soft creaking of swaying trunks provide a soothing experience. It’s a must-see when visiting Kyoto.
- Ryoanji Temple - As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this temple features the world-renowned Rock Garden, once admired by Queen Elizabeth II. Despite its simplicity and small size, consisting only of rocks and white gravel, it offers profound philosophical and spiritual inspiration.
- Kinkakuji Temple - This iconic Zen temple represents Samurai culture. Although it’s a popular tourist spot, the unique view of the Golden Pavilion is truly worth seeing. Capture stunning photos of the gilded structure and its beautiful reflection in the pond.
- Nishiki Market Shopping District - With a history of 400 years, the Nishiki market features 126 shops along a 390-meter street. Here, Kyoto’s unique vegetables and pickles are available for tasting. Enjoy strolling through the market while imagining the local culinary traditions.

This was a wonderful way... - This was a wonderful way to see important sites in Kyoto, learn their history, and beat the crowds. Our guide, Satomi, was very knowledgeable and was able to tailor the tour to meet our needs. She taught us so much in a short amount of time. Our whole family enjoyed this experience.
The company provided excellent communication from the start of the process. Everything went very smoothly.

Trip to Kyoto - We had an amazing experience with our licensed guide, Sumiko Yoshikawa. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and tailored to our interests. Sumiko was not only highly professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly kind and patient throughout the day.
The guide took care of all logistics and made excellent transport decisions on the spot, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy each moment. Her deep insights into Japanese history and culture truly enriched our experience.
We highly recommend this tour and especially Sumiko as a guide. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan!

Amazing and insightful trip - Short answer: book your trip and ask for Tomoko!
Long review: we had a great time with our guide Tomoko. She led us trough all the stops on our trip with ease and her knowledge about each station and beyond was extraordinary. She could answer all of our questions and some questions were very specific! She is a wonderful and lovely person and she even provided us with towels and umbrellas, cooling kits, etc. We really enjoyed our time with her and we will treasure our memories of this day dearly!

Day of Kyoto - Inspite of the scourging August heat, the tour went excellent. Our guide Satomi was very mindful of us and always accommodates our requested breaks. She made us feel like locals - we liked riding the public transportations. We also get to experience food at Nishiki market. Best of all, she gave us recommendations on where to buy good matcha tea and the bowl set. Overall, your getting the best of Kyoto in a day. Thank you.
