cherry blossom walking and sake tour instead - atsushi is so likeable, friendly and knowledgable! would highly recommend him! he was so apologetic about us not getting to ride the boat, but our walk was so much more informative…

Excellent tour with boat ride - Marcelo was an excellent guide. I enjoyed the variety of this tour; a temple with explanations about Shintoism and Buddhism, then a lovely canal boat ride, learning about the locks and importance of waterways in Kyoto’s history, followed by tour of sake brewing and a few tastes. Perfect combination. Highly recommend.

Lovely experience - we visited during the summer, and it didn’t disappoint! while it might be even more beautiful during cherry blossom season, TRUST ME it’s still a fantastic experience in the summer. our guide, Jasmine, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, especially when it came to the temples we visited. we also loved that the tour included a sake tasting it really added to the experience

This was a great half day... - This was a great half day trip to explore the Fushimi district! We met our guide using the train system and had a quick visit to a shrine. From there, we had a great visit to the sake distillery where we watched a documentary, visited the museum, and had a generous tasting of their sakes and finished our trip with an incredible boat ride along the canal. Would highly recommend this trip for a group looking to explore a more quiet neighborhood and learn about the history of distilling and the canals!! As one of the earliest groups on the tour, Katz was a great guide and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto!!

Don't use, long standing booking cancelled - Don't use, unreliable. We booked this tour for our once in a lifetime trip to Japan to see the Cherry Blossom. It was actually the first tour we booked, over 6 months ago, as it was a bucket list activity to do a cherry blossom boat ride. A few days before we travel the company contact me to say the trip is cancelled and that I should cancel the booking. There is now no availability to book anything else. We'll never be able to visit Japan again, so not happy at all and very disappointed.

Unreliable and unprofessional:( - Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We booked our tour using WhatsApp to go on a canal boat cruise. They then cancelled the whole tour and sent an email which ended up in the junk folder instead of a text or a phone call. We ended up texting them when our guide never showed up after an hour commute only to be told it was cancelled. They also informed us that we would not be reimbursed for 14days!
We then found our own way to the boats and there were plenty of tours available which they could have easily rebooked us on but or given us instruction on how to do it ourselves.
Japan has been incredible except for this unreliable and unprofessional company.
