Fantastic evening tour - Phoebe was a phenomenal guide, providing history, myth, and background on Shintoism. Loved learning from her. She patiently answered questions and handled interruptions well. I definitely recommend the evening walk to see the different vibes in the daylight and then after sunset with the lanterns lit, plus it's a little less crowded and more pleasant temperature-wise.

A Fun Tour with the Best Guide! - The best part of this tour was our guide, Yuna. She wins the prize for the friendliest, funniest guide we have had on our trip to Japan. The Fushina-Inari shrine itself is interesting. The main feature appeared to be the long line of tori gates, which created some near photo opportunities. There was also a fox theme, and are 108 fox statues throughout the shrine. We did not hike all the way to the top, but Yuna said the view is fantastic. I definitely recommend this tour if you have time, and definitely try to get Yuna. She's the best!

Amazing! - Beautiful tour and worth the price. The tour began with the sun still up and ended at night so you get to see both versions. Well worth the time, and our tour guide Phoebe was fantastic.

Terrific Way to See Fushimi Inari Shrine - This is THE way to experience the Tori Gates at Fushimi Inari Shrine! The tour started at 5 pm and there was a river of tourists...luckily, they were exiting as we were walking in. Vincent is a fabulous tour guide. He gave us so much incredible information about the shrine and the Shinto traditions, including the proper way for us to wash our hands and bow before entering the shrine. Vincent was very knowledgeable and gave us terrific photo ops of less crowded areas of the gates so that it seems we had the shrine to ourselves. He also shared his insights into modern Japan from a younger person's perspective. Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour - I had an excellent time on this tour with Roman. He created a warm atmosphere while sharing a huge amount of information with us. I had a truly enjoyable experience and left with a lot of new knowledge. I highly recommend this tour ☺️

A lovely tour with great hosts! - We had a great evening together! Fushimi-Inari is such a beautiful place especially at night! Tammy and Phoebe guided us this evening and they were both very sweet and told us a lot of interesting things! They were very patient, offered to take photo’s of our group, and explained everything very well! The walk itself is really laid back and not intense, allthough you do have to climb some stairs. So bring some good walking shoes ;) Overall I really recommend this tour for some very interesting stories about the Shrine and its surroundings and even just for the beautiful views! Thanks again to Tammy and Phoebe for having us!

Great Tour! - Fantastic tour and wonderful guides! A fantastic way to learn about the shrines, culture, and history. Would highly recommend for English speakers as many of the signs in this area are in Japanese, so this tour will teach you a lot you couldn’t learn yourself! The could not be friendlier and more helpful, they were perfect.
