A Journey Through Time in Kyoto

Kyoto, a city that has always held a special place in my heart, beckoned me once again. This time, it was not just the allure of its ancient temples or the serene beauty of its gardens that drew me in, but the promise of a unique cultural experience that would allow me to step back in time. The Kimono Wedding Experience offered a chance to don the traditional attire of the Edo period and capture the essence of a bygone era.

As someone who grew up in a multicultural household, with a Japanese mother and an American father, the kimono has always been more than just a garment to me.
