• Church of the Tithes - The tour continues to The Old Kyiv’s Hill, where legend says Kyi, the eldest of Kyiv’s founders, began his reign in the 5th century. • St. Andrew’s Church - The current church structure began when Russian Empress Elizabeth decided to build a summer residence in Kyiv, including a palace and a church. Constructed in the 18th century, the church was designed by Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. According to legend, the church has no bells because their sound would cause flooding in the city’s left part.
• St. Michael’s Golden Domed Monastery - This is the main Cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, with a functioning monastery on its grounds. The Cathedral was completely demolished in the 1930s by the Soviet regime.
