The cave is named after Prometheus, as nearby Mount Khvamli is said to be where the titan Prometheus was bound, according to legend (known as Amiran in Georgian tales). The entire cave is themed around this myth.
- Geguti - Visit the royal castle of Geguti, a medieval city and historical monument located in western Georgia, 7 km south of Kutaisi. The palace complex spans over 2000 square meters and was first mentioned in 12th-century historical records. The fortress and halls were constructed in multiple phases, with the initial phase dating back to the 8th and 9th centuries.

How to find our office: When you're in the city center (Kutaisi) at the central square with a big fountain, find a theater building. When you are facing it, head right, turn left and go straight. You'll get at the "Newport" hotel. There is a police building and our travel agency is next to it.

Awesome Experience! - Mamuka was an excellent guide! He is a wealth of knowledge on Georgia and the Caucasus at large - helping bring the region to life! He provided fascinating insights about all the locations on the tour (Tskhaltubo, Prometheus Cape and Geguti). Fantastic 10/10!

Great and knowledgable guide. I would definitely choose again on a repeat visit. - A pleasant and knowledgeable guide, who was especially interesting, told us about the history and other stories of the places that we visited. Answered all the questions that we had. During the stay, we also booked other tours with guide services, and with this guide, we had the best experience.
