Birds land on your arms and eat out of your hands - Me and my friends’ visited Birdworld, butterfly sanctuary, and koala gardens, and birdworld was all of our favourite. The birds eat out of your hands and lad on your arms. They’re so friendly and comfortable with humans. It was such a fun and social experience. We all loved it. The birds are stunningly beautiful and colourful - wide variety of them.

Magical bird experience - Magical experience here with so many different types of birds to appreciate and feed. Many are very playful and not shy amongst humans and so it is a real delight being able to interact so closely with so many different gorgeous birds. A really amazing experience - it was so special to observe the very different behaviours and temperaments of the different kinds of birds. We will be definitely returning on our next trip to North Queensland!

Brilliant! - I LOVED this place. I kept going back to have more time with the birds, many are rescues and hand-reared and very friendly. The staff are wonderful- so kind, friendly and informative. If I could live here I would!

Beautiful Birds to See! - Beautiful Birds to see, they were very calm and friendly. Quite a few different species in Birdworld. I got to see the Cassowary up close which my younger sister enjoyed.

So good don’t miss it 👌 - It was so good, honestly didn’t expect much and loved every minute, the birds are amazing, I have never had an experience like it, will go again 💯 Make sure you buy the bird food when you enter and go as early as possible, you can hand feed the birds they come to you!

Fun the birds got up close - It was a lot of fun and the birds got up close - kids loved it and would recommend a visit. A lot of opportunities with photos with the birds I had like 4 on me at one stage.

Pricey but worth the experience if you like birds. - Amazing little Avery where the birds are interactive and want to approach you for food, the Avery isn’t very big, if you don’t like birds you would be in and out in 5 minutes, you can spend as short or as long as you like here, admission is probably a bit expensive for what it is, though it’s an experience you should do.

It was ok - It was alright. Not many birds as shown. Saw a few of them. Not sure if it’s worth for the price. To benefit the rescue team it would be ok to contribute

Disappointing - This is very touristy and not what we expected. Not many of the birds were Australian, yet alone local to the area. Indian ring necked parrots flocked for food sitting on heads, necks and shoulders making good photo opportunities - however we were concerned about so many people spreading human disease to these birds. The cassowary needed a much larger area to roam and looked rather sad. Not the place to visit if you are a real bird lover.
