Additional Information

Embark on a journey that intertwines culture and history in Kunming, the capital of the Yunnan province. Due to its year-round spring-like weather, Kunming is aptly referred to as the ‘Spring City.’ Its favorable climate breeds a variety of beautiful flowers that bloom throughout the year, making the city renowned for its flower markets. With the locals’ fondness for having flowers in their premises, these flower markets are bustling all year round. Interestingly, the flowers used in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games were sourced from Kunming. During the tour, we will take you to visit China’s largest fresh flower market - Dounan Flower and Bird Market. Here, you can indulge in the beauty of a vast array of flowers and learn flower arrangement techniques. You will also get a chance to explore the Dragon Gate in West Hill, one of Kunming’s most visited sites located near Dianchi Lake. Visit the temples delicately carved into a natural cliff and relish a panoramic view of Kunming.
