- Kungrad - En route to Kungrad, one of the region’s five ancient cities, travelers will experience the authentic lifestyle of Northern Karakalpakstan’s residents. In Kungrad, there will be a stop at a shop to purchase soft drinks, travel accessories, or toiletries.
- Ships Cemetery - In Muynak, visitors will explore the ship graveyard where abandoned ships appear frozen in time. They will descend the steep slope to the ships and hear the tale of the disappearing sea while standing at the site of the Aral Sea tragedy. Following this, lunch will be served at Aunt Bali’s, a welcoming resident of Muynak who will prepare delightful traditional home-cooked meals. - Ustyurt Platosi - The journey will ascend the Ustyurt Plateau. Departing from the modern roads of Muynak, travelers will venture to the Ustyurt Plateau through the desert that once formed the Aral Sea’s bed. The plateau, with its carved walls, is visible from afar. The ascent of the Ustyurt will be made in off-road vehicles, marking the start of an incredible journey.
- Aral Sea - Arrival at the Aral Sea yurt camp offers relaxation in a cozy yurt camp on the Aral Sea Shore. The camp is positioned on a platform between the Ustyurt and the Aral Sea. Guests can walk to the sea, enjoy an outdoor dinner with a sea view, and spend the night in comfortable Karakalpak yurts.
- Aral Sea - After breakfast, the tour will proceed to the ancient Kurgancha-Kala site (Davletgirey). Participants will hike to the ruins of the vast market built in this deserted area to facilitate trade between the Khorezm Kingdom’s population and nomads. Kubla-Ustyurt is a remote settlement with an airstrip, where visitors will learn why people continue to live in this desert area, miles from the nearest settlement. There will be an opportunity to visit a camel herder’s home and sample camel milk.
- Ustyurt Platosi - Urga, an abandoned fishing village, resembles a scene from a post-apocalyptic film. Visitors will see the ruins of the Russian city once inhabited by exiled Cossacks and their descendants, visit a Russian Orthodox cemetery on a hill, and explore a decrepit factory, salt-covered lakeshore, wooden fishing boats, and vast areas overgrown with bulrush. A brief stop will be made at the fishing outpost. Sudochie Lake, with its bulrush-covered islets, is home to a variety of birds, attracting ornithologists and photographers worldwide.
- Nukus - A busy road lined with patches of desert, green fields, and lakes will lead back to Nukus. Lunch will be served at a roadside café in Kungrad, after which the journey will continue back to the modern life of Nukus.
