[Josaien] The store is located very close to Kumamoto Castle. There are many souvenir shops and restaurants. A free shuttle bus is convenient to Kumamoto Castle.

Kumamoto Castle, which has a history of over 400 years, is one of Japan’s three famous castles. Please enjoy its brave appearance in the Kimono.
A free bus runs from Josaien to Kumamoto Castle.
Suizenji Park is 20 minutes by Kumamoto City Tram. This garden is famous for its spring water.

Begin by selecting your favorite kimono from a collection of 150 options. Assistance in making your choice is available. Then, pick out tabi socks and a drawstring purse with a Japanese pattern. Change into the tabi socks. Next, our professional staff will dress you in the kimono, a process that takes about 10 minutes.

Hair accessories are available for rent as an optional service, with no limit on the number of ornaments you can use, so feel free to choose as many as you like.

You’ll see a new version of yourself in the mirror. A photo will be taken before you leave the store. Pictures taken with swords and Japanese umbrellas will be printed and given as gifts.

Please return to the store by 5:00 pm.

As an optional service, kimonos worn at the Josaien store can be returned to the Suizenji store.
