Hiking, waterfall, tubing, waterfall slide, and BEER! - Definitely bring plenty of insect repellant and sunscreen! Staff members are fun and friendly. Be prepared for your own private concert from the tour guides as you hike to a beautiful waterfall. Be on the lookout for elephants as you lazily tube down the river. Be excited for the waterfall slide at the end—it’s a must try!

Jungle trek and river tubing in Chiang Mai. - A fantastic day of adventure. The whole experience was brilliant. Base camp was lovely with free tea and coffee and clean showers and toilets. Jack and the team looked after us so well. The jungle trek was hot and humid and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially cooling off at the waterfall. Lunch was delicious. The tubing was fab. Drinking beer whilst floating down the river, listening to music. All finished off with the waterfall rock slide. I'd definitely recommend it of you're after a day of adventure.

Fantastic day out- worth every penny - Wow what a great day. We were a family of 5 (2 parents and 'kids' aged 20, 17 & 14). We had Jack as our guide, who was fantastic, apart from his singing 🤣. As it was just us 5 in our group the trek only took about 2 hours to the waterfall and back, it is not a strenuous trek a couple of our group did it in sliders, hot but most of it in shade. We were the first group to get to the waterfall so had it to ourselves to begin with for a refreshing dip. Tubing down the river was a relaxing 90 minutes with plenty of elephant photo opportunities, Jack kept us refreshed with beers and soft drinks. Then finally the waterfall slide to finish off a great day, looks a little daunting at first sight but don't be put off it's great fun. The venue, Huay Kub Kab, was excellent, soft drinks and snacks on arrival, lunch was a delicious Pad Thai and then fruit snack at the end of the day. All staff were lovely, showers with shower gel, shampoo and towels provided, waterproof phone cases and sunglasses lanyard provided for tubing, they had thought of everything to make the day perfect. Yes it is a long day from 8am pick up to 6.30pm drop off but it was well organised with nothing too rushed and plenty of time to enjoy each bit. Highly recommend.

Action packed - perfectly organised day - From pickup to drop off, everything was expertly organised and ran like clockwork. Car trip was about 1hr 30mins from Chiang Mai but with a break in the middle. The trek was fun and doable for all members of the group, even those that weren’t quite as confident with outdoor pursuits. The guides were good fun and helped where needed. You get to a big waterfall where you can swim and rest, and turn back towards the villa for a pad Thai. Then onto the tubing down the river with a beer in hand and music for around an hour. You can then feed the elephants if you want to but not mandatory. Loads of complimentary water, soft drinks and snacks offered. You won’t be thirsty or hungry. Transport was also on point for the entire day. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful day in the jungle - Jack and team were fabulous. Would highly recommend all of them! All so welcoming and kind. Jack was so knowledgeable and chatted to us throughout the trek. He made us feel so comfortable and safe. We had such a memorable day trekking, seeing waterfalls, tubing on the river and the biggest highlight was interacting with the special elephants. Jack made it a special day. He is a lovely man. Thank you.

Terrific but long day. We... - Terrific but long day. We were picked up at 8am and got back to the hotel around 7pm. Our guide for the hike, Nine, was amazing. No one else signed up for the hike so it was just me and my spouse so she was able to give us a lot of attention and support during the tricky parts of the hike. Like all of the hikes I’ve done in Thailand, I can’t imagine doing them with any mobility issues or after any amount of rain. The trail was dusty and would be very slippery if wet. The paths were very narrow and included a lot of walking on large rocks/boulders without any flat trail options. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it as long as you’re not expecting a clear path type of hike. We joined up with a bunch of other groups for the river tubing excursion after lunch. It was an absolute highlight of our whole trip. It took about 2 hours and we saw a number of elephants from the water at a local sanctuary. The guide, Bang, has a speaker and a cooler for beers, waters and sodas as needed (you pay for the beer after so no need to worry about carrying cash on the river). There was also a break in the middle with access to toilets and a chance to take some pictures with elephants in the background across the river. They provided towels and soap to shower afterwards, which made the return trip a lot more comfortable. Highly recommend!

A fab and varied time - This was a really great day out! I was in Chiang Mai for a 3 day conference and tagged a couple days on the end to explore, choosing to do this activity which was a 3-in-1 experience. I was communicated with well, collected from where I was staying and taken directly to Bang's place, which is a really lovely little resort in the junglenitself. I went on a jungle trek with Nine. I think she needs to work on her jokes(!), and as we joshed along I learned a lot about the biodiversity of the jungle and saw flora, fauna and evidence of the nearby Indigenous people. This was a good 2.5hr in the morning. I was rewarded with a lovely chicken pad thai lunch served in a banana leaf, and it was lovely. Then joined by others for the river tubing, which was so chill and relaxing, drifting down the river, some music, a can and taking in the river communities and the many elephant sanctuaries. It was sobering too to see the impact of the floods just a few months earlier. Don did a grand job steering us along the way. Then a pick-up truck ride back to base and a short walk to the waterfall slide. It takes some nerves to do it, but I managed a couple of dips. Then shower and relax before being driven back into the city. It was a great mix of nature, socialising and adventure. I highly recommend this trip, because of the lovely team and great activities.

Awesome day adventure so worth it - It was awesome. Hands down once in a lifetime experience. You get to Bangs place, and he breaks everything you are going to do down to even the breaks in between activities. Nai took us on the trek, and it's perfect for those who actually want an adventure not to where you will hurt yourself but not a walk in the park. Nai will show you some interesting stuff along the way as well, and the halfway point is at a waterfall, which is perfect for a cool down and so beautiful and so much fun then you head back to Basecamp where they have prepared a delicious meal for you chicken pad thai it was sooooo delicious he has beer for sale as well then you go tubing down the river, the guide brought a cooler of beer, water, and snacks and as you float down the river you watch elephants bathe and hangout he will pull you over to a beach where you can hangout for a sec and watch the elephants play it's so awesome, then you head back to Basecamp and walk right behind and go down a waterfall slide and when you get to it you are 1st like ahhhh is that pool deep enough for you to drop in yes it is I went down it 4 times drunk it was amazing and fun. All in all the only bad thing about the trip is the 2 and a 1/2 hour ride there, and that's just digging deep for something to be bad about they pick you up at the front door of you hotel they drop you off at the front door of your hotel all of the guides were funny and knowledgeable. If you're like me and just showed up to Chiang Mai with no plan and like me, this day trip just pops up after you open your web browser. Take this trip it's so worth it.

Bang made it a Blast! - Our tour guide was unbelievable, his name BANG! He was so intelligent, thoughtful, kind he was picking up trash along the way. We met at his home area. It was pristine, clean outdoor concept, dining , showers ,bathroom. We ate a meal from his home. It was pad Thai, it was great. We hiked we tubed we saw elephants. We slid down rock slides. He always added the cultural and and heartfelt thoughts and feelings for the area. An unbelievable experience, thank you Bang!

Poor and expensive use of a day. - Had high expectations having read the incredible reviews, not so. Basic walk to an ok waterfall, waited 1 hour 30 minutes for a mini bus of tubers to arrive. Tubed down a river with elephant pens along one side and quad bikes doing donuts on a beach on the other. Regret the use of a day and a large amount of money :( Having visited here 25 years ago, it saddens me to see what has become.
