Great experience seeing Bako National Park. - Great experience seeing Bako National Park. We got picked up from our hotel in Kuching and made it out to the park, parking lot in a mini bus. From there you board a boat that takes you to the actual park. We did some "hilly" hiking (be sure to wear appropriate footwear) and ended up on a beach we explored. We took a boat back but sailed around a bit first, that was my favorite. We saw a good amount of wildlife on this tour incl wild pigs, those green mini snakes, moneys and even dolphins swimming. I would recommend the tour. My only two negative feedbacks would be the cost of this tour itself, more than any other excursions on on Borneo and the lunch place. Lunch was fine but I was a bit concerned about the food safety in this smaller place out there by the boat terminals. As it turned out everyone were fine later and no stomach issues to report :)

Great time in Bako - Don served as our guide and we had an amazing time! We got to see so many types of wildlife including proboscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys, monitor lizards, mudskippers, pit vipers, and more. The boat ride could be a bit intense for some, but I found it to be quite fun!

Highly Recommended - Very enjoyable tour and a great way to access a National Park and see the diversity of the countryside outside the city. The tour incorporated a mini bus, small boat, and walking which all added to the experience, and arriving at the National Park by boat particularly showcased the spectacular rock formations of the cliffs on the way in. Our guide Salih was terrific and made the tour especially enjoyable for us. He was friendly and professional and lives in the area, so he had a lot of information and insights about the park and its history, and a strong knowledge of the plants and wildlife in the park. Salih was very adept at spotting and pointing out wildlife, so we got to see a wide range of animals and plants - though unfortunately we did not get to see any proboscis monkeys. Salih also ensured that the pace of the tour suited the participants and their abilities so that we got the most out of the tour. The lunch at the Visitor Centre was excellent with a wide range of very tasty local dishes available. Park Rangers and café staff were friendly and the facilities were clean and tidy.

Sally made the Bako tour an experience of a lifetime. - Sally was an excellent tour guide during our Bako tour. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. She pointed out all the monkeys, snake, and wildlife on the tour. I was the oldest person on the tour. She offered for a boat to return me to the Bako center on the return. The boat could not come so the other 6 people went ahead. Sally stayed with me and helped me over the difficult parts of the trek. I made it thanks to Sally’s help and kindness. She made the tour very special for me and the others on the tour. She is an asset to your company.

Bako National Park - Excellent tour of the national park. Jan and Edwin picked us up at our hotel very as arranged and drove us to the park. They were very informative throughout the day and we saw some great wildlife. The trail was a bit tougher than we expected but the guides ensured we went at the right pace with plenty of rest stops along the way. They then took us for lunch which was amazing. I cannot thank them enough for looking after us throughout the day and would highly recommended this tour.

The best way to discover the wildlife of the park - We had an excellent experience on the guided tour. We went in a very small group, just me and my partner, which made everything even more special. Our guide, Elvin, was always concerned that we could observe most of the wildlife in the park, especially the elusive narigud monkeys, and thanks to him we managed to do so. The activity was very complete and enriching. To make the most of the visit, I recommend always doing it with a guide: otherwise it is easy to miss many animals and important details.

Good but expensive - The park itself is very nice and the guide was also great. However, the supply here is completely overpriced. Better look for something locally and pay only a third.

Island Tour was Not very enjoyable - The river cruising part was enjoyable, and the scenic beauty of the beach was truly amazing. However, the trip felt a bit rushed, especially the trekking, which was very tiring and somewhat unpredictable. The animal sightseeing was not as fun or interesting as expected. Lunch could also have been better if it was arranged on the island itself

Do not go during the rainy season! - This trip was one of those I will never forget. We left Kuching in the morning. The weather wasn't good but still fine. Unfortunately, the conditions became worse and worse while we were walking through the jungle. A real rainstorm hit the park. We got completely wet. My camera got damaged and getting it fixed is not convenient as I would spend a lot of money. Therefore, I have to buy a new one. We were supposed to see the proboscis monkeys. This was the main reason why we chose this day trip. We were able to spot just one. But it was very dark and rainy. So, it wasn't easy to see it among the branches. Also, the trip on the boat was kinda scary. I didn't feel very safe due to the big waves. I was afraid the boat to flip over. We passed by the rock formations you can see here on Tripadvisor, but we couldn't take any picture as we had to hold the boat tightly. Our priority was our safety. However, taking pictures would not have been possible because the boat was bumping the waves all the time and pictures would have been blurred. In a word...a nightmare. I learnt the hard way, the reason why it is called rainforest. With all of the above being told, please do not go to Bako National Park during the rainy season (from October to March/April). Apparently, summer is the best season.
