Visitors are taken on a boat ride along the Selangor River, where fireflies inhabit the branches of the “Berembang” trees lining the riverbank. Here, thousands of fireflies may gather on a single tree, starting their display about an hour after sunset. The brightest display lasts for about two to three hours, continuing at a lower intensity until dawn.
