It is believed to be one of the largest firefly colonies in the world.

Fireflies, also called ‘lightning bugs,’ emit a bright glow at night to attract a mate. Although they can shine during the day, it is not visible to humans. They are only seen at night in and around the ‘Berembang’ trees along the Selangor River.
