• Bukit Melawati - 17:00 Arrival at Kota Melawati (formerly Fort Altingsburg). Weekdays offer a walking tour (15-20 minutes to Bukit Melawati), while weekends feature a tram service.

Bukit Melawati is a favored tourist spot. The hill provides a view of the Strait of Malacca and features a lighthouse along with the remnants of the Kota Melawati fort.

• Altingsburg Lighthouse - Originally named after a Dutch governor, the Altingsburg Lighthouse was constructed in 1907 and began operations in 1910.
  This beautiful lighthouse sits atop Bukit Melawati in Kuala Selangor, offering a great photo opportunity. However, tourists are not permitted to enter the lighthouse.

Malacca Strait
Take in the view of the Strait of Malacca: This narrow, 550-mile stretch of water lies between the Malay Peninsula and the Indonesian island of Sumatra. As the primary shipping route between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, it is one of the world’s most crucial shipping lanes.

• Kuala Selangor - For optimal visibility, the ideal time to witness Kuala Selangor’s fireflies is just after 8 pm on a clear, moonless night. Any later, and the fireflies may have paired off, causing them to cease flashing.

There are four locations to observe this rare natural spectacle:

2. Kampung Kuantan Firefly Park
3. Kampung Bukit Belimbing Firefly Park
4. D’Tour Jetty

• Kampung Kuantan Firefly Park - This serves as an alternative jetty if the D’Tour (our primary tour starting point) jetty is not operational.
