• Sri Shakti Temple - Sri Shakti Temple stands proudly as a unique symbol of Hindu architectural brilliance in Malaysia.

Note: The temple has specific opening hours, and often, visits are limited to photo stops.

• Bukit Melawati - Bukit Melawati, or Melawati Hill, is a hill near Kuala Selangor, Malaysia. It is a popular tourist destination, offering views of the Strait of Malacca, a lighthouse, and the remnants of the Kota Melawati fort.
• Altingsburg Lighthouse - Originally named Altingsburg Lighthouse after a Dutch governor, it was constructed in 1907 and began operations in 1910.

This beautiful lighthouse sits atop Bukit Melawati in Kuala Selangor. It’s a great spot for photography, though entry into the lighthouse is not permitted for tourists.

• Malacca Strait - View the Strait of Malacca: This narrow, 550-mile stretch of water lies between the Malay Peninsula and the Indonesian island of Sumatra. As a key shipping route between the Indian and Pacific Oceans, it is one of the world’s most crucial maritime passages.

For optimal viewing, the best time to see Kuala Selangor’s fireflies is shortly after 8pm on a clear, moonless night. Any later, and the fireflies may have found a mate, causing them to stop flashing.
