The roofs boast intricate ceramic tiles, wavy gables, and beautifully carved friezes in green and blue ceramics, depicting mythological scenes. The corners are embellished with exquisite blue ceramic vases.
At the entrance stand the temple’s guardians, a man and a woman. The temple was primarily built for an association of clans: the Chan, the Chen, and the Tan. The central altar features statues of the three clan founders, flanked by pictures of deceased family members. Paintings of warriors battling lions, dragons, and mythical creatures frame the main altar. The temple serves as both a sanctuary and a community center.
