Perdana Botanical Gardens:

Known previously as “Lake Gardens,” Perdana Botanical Gardens is Kuala Lumpur’s oldest and most beloved park. Located on the city’s edge, it was once the site of grand homes built by the British elite during colonial times.

Today, its landscaped hills and scenic trails provide a haven for city residents seeking a jog or morning t’ai chi. The main attraction is the lake, encircled by lush greenery within a 92-hectare (227-acre) parkland, offering a refreshing atmosphere.

• Orchid & Hibiscus Gardens - The Kuala Lumpur Orchid Garden, along with the adjacent Hibiscus Garden, is a tranquil spot to admire exotic tropical blooms amidst beautifully landscaped gardens. It is a true paradise of stunning flowers, showcasing an incredibly diverse collection of the world’s most beautiful tropical flora.
• Kuala Lumpur Bird Park - Explore the aviaries at the Bird Park, and take a leisurely walk through the enchanting Deer Park and Orchid Garden.
• Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park - Wander through the aviaries at the Bird Park, and enjoy a stroll through the delightful Deer Park and Orchid Garden.
• Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia - Islamic Arts Museum:

Interest in Islamic arts has surged in recent years. Reflecting this growing awareness, Malaysia became home to Southeast Asia’s largest Islamic art museum in December 1998. The museum spans 30,000 sq.m. and houses over seven thousand artefacts, along with an outstanding library of Islamic art books.

• National Museum - The National Museum:

The National Museum leads museum activities in Malaysia and has played a crucial role in preserving and restoring the nation’s heritage. Its construction, symbolizing national identity, marked a pinnacle in the history of earlier museums such as the Taiping Museum, Perak (1883), Sarawak Museum (1888), and Selangor Museum (1889).

The Royal Malaysian Police Museum features a captivating collection of artefacts and exhibits detailing the history and role of the RMP from its inception to the present.

• National Monument - Tugu Negara (National Monument):

The National Monument was erected to honor those who sacrificed their lives for peace and freedom, especially during the nation’s fight against communism. The grounds feature one of the world’s largest free-standing bronze sculptures, created in 1966 by Felix de Weldon, who also sculpted the renowned Iwo Jima monument in Washington DC.

During lunchtime, enjoy a delicious Malaysian meal.
