Hiking, boat trips, culture in Taman Negara - Mushroom was excellent guide within national park. Encouraged on the jungle walk, and supported hikers with different levels of ability. The visit to Orang Asli village to learn of food and hunting methods very interesting. Enjoyed optional water rapids book ride, very wet, so not for everyone

Taman Negara National Park Day Tour - Everything worked out perfectly, more is not possible with a day trip. The only weak point was the information after getting out of the car. Everyone probably didn't really know what you had booked. First we had to wait 30 minutes for our guide who then explained the daily routine to us. First crossing into the national park followed by ascent to 2 lookout points. Attention it really goes through the jungle, sturdy shoes would be mandatory. After lunch and then a visit to watch residents with blowpipe training. Afterwards there was a rafting tour. Couldn’t everyone participate because not everyone had change clothes with them. Tip, follow the agency's instructions regarding equipment, otherwise you can't participate in everything.

Great Adventure for Families - The tour was one of the highlights of our two-week family vacation in Kuala Lumpur. The bus ride takes about 3.5 hours each way. The hike up Bukit Teresek was fun and manageable even for our kids (14 and 10), though the heat and humidity make you sweat. We didn't see many animals - just a big spider and some small monkeys in the village. Our guide was excellent: very friendly and knowledgeable.
Lunch at the floating restaurant was great, and the visit to the Bateq settlement was interesting. The boat ride through the rapids will leave you 120% soaked. Make sure to pack all valuables, especially phones, in the bag provided by the guide and bring a full change of clothes.
Only downside: the bus driver drove uncomfortably fast - starting the tour a bit earlier and finishing a bit later might help. The tour is exactly as described, and there are no hidden costs. Not cheap, but definitely worth recommending!

It's hard to get around. - The atmosphere in the village was good.
The trek was a great walk.
It's a shame we didn't get to see many wild animals.
If you're after animals, you might want to stay and join a night safari.
It's hard to take time to get around.

It was a expedition... - It was a expedition through the jungle as advertised, though I did expect to go off the beaten path. Everything was quite touristic it felt like and wasnt like a crazy expedition. Any thrill seekers or nature friends probably wont be satisfied, but for families or just curious people is more than sufficent

Good - Good tour overall, but closed canopy, inauthentic local village, very mediocre food. Great guide (Mashroom)!

Taman negar hike & village visit - 5/10 - It was a lovely day and everything went well. The hike is nice but can be tough if you’re not sportsy/fit: there is an endless number of steps. The surroundings were great and not particularly busy (but our guides mentioned that weekends are chaotic, so would be recommended to do this on a weekday)
Also be aware that the bridge has been closed for over 1 year (according to the guide), so that falsely advertised as part of the tour, but you can’t actually walk it.
Lunch was basic but fine; we had 2 hours break which seemed a bit long and unnecessary. There wasn’t much to do other than sit at the restaurant and wait. We were served quickly, so within 40/45 mins we were done.
The visit to the village is also nice, although by that time we were all tired and the guide struggled a bit with the explanation in English, which made the entire process much longer than necessary.
What I found absolutely unnecessary and not exactly pleasant is the “rapid shooting” that is done at the end of the day, where the boat is basically rocked through the current to get everyone wet. We were soaked by the time we went back to the dock and it’s not ideal when you will be sitting for 3/4 hours in a air-conditioned coach (you are advised to bring a change of clothes and you can use the toilets - upon payment - near the parking; however, if you have long hair, you might be sitting the whole return journey with wet hair).
What I found most disconcerting is the cost of this tour. The first reason for it, it’s because I don’t think the day overall it’s worth ~ 500MYR (over £/$100); second, the cost of the 3 activities at the counter is advertised as 50/55 MYR each, totalling 155MYR. Surely they are not charging 350MYR for the drive and the additional lunch?
Overall, I wouldn’t do it again.

Nice but insufficient for the price it costs - You see the jungle as such, you hardly see typical animals of the area, not to mention hardly any (we only get to see monkeys and a "lizard"). The road has many stairs to climb.
Our guide "Copy" very friendly and took your time to explain points of interest.
It's an activity that we found too expensive for what we had.
The food was fine.

Expendable, just to say you've gone - Very superficial experience, and for the price it has not worth it. Very short way, they don't tell you much. And the suspension bridges are broken because a tree fell and just because you don't do them, it's not replaced by another activity. Then visit a town that is a tourist and the rapids with the boat the only fun but it could be in Malaysia or Benidorm

In line - Departure from kuala lumpur, Trekking in the forest (many steps), nice but we thought there were more animals.
Then lunch, Buono, and then we went to the village where they showed us the peculiarities of their lives
Finally we went back by boat and there you wash totally, initially it is fun, a lot, later it becomes maybe slightly heavy.
We had a very good and nice guide, makes you smell typical smells like the rock of batu caves, lemongrass anise.
The return lasted forever with traffic, it took us 5 hours so if you have to take other means of transport I recommend staying wide with the times.
In itself the experience was very nice, I would do it again, maybe compared to all the other experiences this is the one a bit more "expensive"
