• Bukit Melawati - Bukit Melawati is a historic hill situated in Kuala Selangor, Malaysia. Originally called Bukit Selangor, it was a key location for defense and trade during the colonial period.

Today, Bukit Melawati attracts many tourists with its historical sites and stunning views. Visitors can explore the hilltop fort and visit the Altingsburg Lighthouse, which provides breathtaking views of the surrounding area. They can also see the remains of the old palace of the Selangor Sultanate and the Royal Mausoleum.

A favorite attraction at Bukit Melawati is the silvered leaf monkeys, also known as dusky leaf monkeys, that live on the hill. Visitors can feed these playful and friendly monkeys while taking in the beautiful scenery.

• Altingsburg Lighthouse - Once named after a Dutch governor, the Altingsburg Lighthouse was constructed in 1907 and began operations in 1910. This charming lighthouse sits atop Bukit Melawati in Kuala Selangor and is a great spot for photography. However, tourists are not permitted to enter the lighthouse.
• Kampung Kuantan Firefly Park - Head to the jetty for boarding and enjoy observing the fireflies. Experience a boat ride along the Selangor River, where fireflies gather around the branches of the “Berembang” trees along the riverbank. Start Time: 8pm (15-20 minutes) Boat: Electrically powered fiberglass boat. For optimal visibility, the best time to witness Kuala Selangor’s fireflies is shortly after 8pm on a clear, moonless night. Any later, and the fireflies may have found a mate, causing them to stop flashing.
