This is where Malaysia declare their independence on the midnight of 30th August 1957 and thus, 31st Aug is the day we celebrate our National Independence day. Since then, this place is the usual venue for annual National Day Parade. A 95-metre flagpole, one of the tallest in the world, is located at the southern end of the square.
Again, nice place for photo taking with the building architecture in KL that represent Malaysia.

  • Thean Hou Temple - Thean Hou Temple is one of the oldest and largest temples in Southeast Asia

This ornate Chinese temple dedicated to the Queen of Heaven, Thean Hou, protectorate of people who make their living from the sea. The temple borrows from Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian traditions. Some visitors believe the panoramic views of KL alone make the trip up the hill worthwhile.

  • Sri Maha Mariamman Temple - The oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Built in 1873 by K. Thamboosamy Pillai but was only opened to the public in the 1920s. This is not only the oldest temple but also the richest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur.

  • National Mosque (Masjid Negara) - Striking modern Mosque

Non-Muslims are welcome to visit the striking National Mosque outside of prayer time. This modern mosque was completed in 1965.Robes are kindly lent to visitors who are inappropriately dressed.

An iconic landmark, this grand royal palace with golden domes is a popular place to take photos.
The Istana Negara is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia.

  • Petronas Twin Towers - Identical Towers, Identical Wonders. Enjoy and capture the spires of PETRONAS Twin Towers and the skylines of Kuala Lumpur.

The most important landmark in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia, this 88 floor towers are constructed mainly based on Islamic art. Great visit to KL - We had a wonderful trip to KL. Our tour guide Ms Chong was excellent explaining not only historical facts but also insightful information about the way of living and traditions. Dino is a great driver and really fun. The best team and tour to have a meaningful experience about the city and country.

Highly Recommended - The tour in KL was fantastic. Both tour guide (Teng) and driver (Dino) were brilliant. Teng was very accommodating and informative about Malaysian culture. Me and my husband enjoyed all the places that we’ve been.
