• Kilim Geoforest Park - Our first destination is where the boatman will halt the engine and toss chicken pieces into the water to attract eagles. Soon, eagles will be seen diving nearby, snatching the chicken pieces, and soaring back into the sky. As the journey continues out of the mangroves, stunning limestone rock formations and sea stacks will be visible, rising dramatically from the ocean. These ancient coral formations, thrust skyward millions of years ago, are home to a unique and ancient group of plants found nowhere else on Earth.
• Gua Kelawar (Bat Cave) - Next, the exploration of darkened bat caves awaits, steeped in legendary tales of mystery and romance. The guide will also provide insights into the nearby habitat.
• Kilim Karst Geoforest Park - The tour includes a visit to a floating modern fish farm and a local fish farm. The boat will drop visitors at the floating fish farm in a secluded cove, surrounded by towering limestone and granite cliffs. Visitors will enjoy hand-feeding the rays and observing various sea creatures in the ‘tanks,’ though not too much will be revealed—it’s a trip worth taking.
