A beautiful day - The pickup was bumpy, but the whole trip Mega was nice .
Super organized although the first impression did not look like it.

Mangroves and Geo Park - The Geo Park experience was excellent, our guide Shah and our boat man were very knowledgable and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. The Eagles were amazing, and it was great to fly along in the boat. The only thing that let it down was the transfer to the Park. On the way we were 4 people in a small car and it was very cramped, on the way back it was a better experience so I think they responded to feedback. I would highly recommend visiting the Geo Park.

Ideal Shore Excursion! - We thoroughly enjoyed our day. The drive to the start of the boat ride and back (from the cruise port in the South to the North shore) was great. Abu, our driver provided so much information on Langkawi, the people and the island. The boat ride was so beautiful and relaxing and the absolute best way to see the island. We saw so many eagles, monkeys, the fish farm, and just beautiful mangroves and ocean. Upon our returning to the port, Abu offered to take us to other places we might like to see on our way back to the port. We stopped to see the Eagle (amazing). He drove around the city, !once again sharing more information. The day was a full land and boat tour of a wonderful island. Thanks to our great guide, Abu!

Excellent day out, thank you Shah - I thought this was excellent value. It was a sharing boat- Fortunately everyone in our group were good people, and the guide (Shah) was amazing and full of knowledge about the wildlife in the area. We covered fish feeding, saw fruit bats, eagles, monkeys, bat caves, and finished with a rest/swim at a stunning beach. The water was so warm. The lunch was small (chicken and rice) but it was fine and kept us going!
Whilst this had nothing to do with our tour specifically, I was annoyed at a minority of tourists from other tours 1) teasing/scaring the monkeys to get a reaction out of them, and 2) deciding to feed the monkeys after they had tried to grab food. There are so many signs asking you not to feed them and that they are aggressive, and ignoring this guidance affects other tourists. It's astonishing.

Don’t miss this excursion! - Amazing day spent with Captain John! His expertise with his boat made us comfortable and he made sure we enjoyed the ride. Great experience seeing the sights and spending the day on this excursion.

A Great day out, spoilt by an aggressive driver tasked with returning us to the start point. - A great day out, the guide was helpful we saw many interesting things. Lunch was good, a buffet. It was marred by transportation problems. On the way back particularly there were too many people put on our minibus. I am disabled, and was manhandled off the bus by an aggressive driver.

Bar cave review - Good:
The guides Nash and Natasha were excellent. They were easy to talk to, engaging, knowledgeable and put people at ease.
The tour itself was fun, interesting and well worth the time spent.
Bad:
Pick-up was 40 minutes late.
There was confusion as to which tour company was responsible for us and took another 20 minutes to resolve.
Lunch was poor, it was dry and we ordered fresh fish that was served over cooked and cold.
Overall:
Highly recommend the tour, but, avoid the lunch.

Monkey madness - Great to see monkeys, bats and eagles. Felt like bahhhh at times as hearded like sheep. There are private tours available but this one did the trick for a fair price. Four boats went out with about 18 people on each and one guide who alternated boats...Nash...good guide. Toilets and lunch substanded on fish farm but hey I've seen worse and didnt go to eat. Beware cheeky monkeys. Although warned one woman opened a bag of crisps while at bat cave dock...gone in 0.01 of a second. Still, guess the monkey liked Doritos. All in all got what paid for and enjoyed the day. Cheers Nash.

Use this Company at your peril. - Shearings Coach Tour: W8XRCK (21 to 28 Dec. 2025)
Xmas on the Italian & French Riviera - over the Xmas week
Would strongly advise not to use Shearings (not to be confused with Leger).
Many things to advise on (most of the other passengers have similar/longer lists) and have forwarded their grievances:
Negative items:
▪️VV.expensive for VV. poor service.
▪️Coach unfit for purpose, cramped seating too many seats (result: knee and back pain on long trips)
▪️Aircon did not function correctly (hot at coach front 24.5C / v. cold at rear)
▪️Coach hygiene questionable (at least 3 people contracted conjunctivitis - myself included)
▪️8-day holiday comprised 4 x 14 hr travel days and not enough comfort stops - particularly unsuitable for more elderly passengers or those with mobility issues
▪️No free water on coach, poor/lack of information from couriers during 4-day coach travel
▪️Optional trips also unsuitable for clients with mobility issues as too many stairs/steps
▪️Male courier/driver unprofessional in manners/dress and attitude (rude jokes) also shared room with his mother on trip ?
▪️Coach not cleaned for duration of holiday (unlike Ledger coach couriers who vacuumed their coach during our short final run home in UK)
▪️Don't even have time to start about the hotel 😎😎 - days with no hot water and food very basic
Positive items:
Eventually got home.
