A grand day out. - We had a lovely day walking with Emine through Kusadasi. Effortless meeting, great communication, and a friendly welcome.
We walked to Pigeon Island first to see the walled castle and the museum (well worth visiting). It's a moderate walk, enjoyable at 9.30 in the a.m.
We continued to Pasha Port to take in a rug demonstration. Again, highly recommended. Very genuine shop, with a simple knotting demonstration. It was pressureless, and we had a great intro to Turkish Rugs from Curly. A gentleman, with years of knowledge. Prices are very good too, that's 'if' you want to buy. Also try their apple tea!
The Hammam was glorious, it really was. Inside the building has a traditional marble interior with marble rooms amd domed ceilings to relax before your wash. Emine allowed us time to relax and enjoy our own time. Opt for the oil massage 'if' you want. Again, zero pressure to buy. It's reasonably priced and well worth it.
Emine was so natural and charming and professional and really made us feel welcome in Kusadasi.
Enjoy yourselves, take some time for a leisurely walk, and take in the sights and sounds. Pick up a pastry or two, talk with a vendor, take some photos, enjoy.
You won't be disappointed.

Skip this. - Skip this and go to Ephesus. Not much to see here. Food was great. The guide was good but then again not much to see. The focal point was the "no pressure" high pressure carpet sale.
