• Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - A 30-minute drive will take guests to The House of Virgin Mary, situated on the Aladag Mountains, 5 miles from Ephesus. During the third Ecumenical Council in 431 AD in Ephesus, it was asserted that Mary arrived in Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and resided there until her passing in 48 A.D. Following the house’s discovery, the Archbishop of Izmir declared it a pilgrimage site in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited and prayed there.

• Ancient City of Ephesus - A 10-minute drive from The House of Virgin Mary leads to Ephesus, a key highlight in Turkey. Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of the Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on Asia Minor’s western coast), is near Izmir. As a port city, it was a significant starting point for trade routes into Asia Minor.

Stroll through history along marble streets lined with remarkable public buildings, including the Baths of Scholastica and the Library of Celsus, constructed in the early 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila as a tribute to his father, Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of the Province of Asia. The Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of Ephesus’s most impressive structures. The Grand Theater, built in the 3rd century B.C., was later expanded by the Romans in the 1st century A.D. to accommodate 24,000 spectators.

• Ephesus Terrace Houses - Terrace Houses are included only in the “with Terrace Houses options” and are not part of other options. Located on the slopes of Pion Mountain, there are six residential units built on three artificial terraces. These homes were inhabited by Ephesus’s wealthy citizens and were lavishly adorned with wall frescoes and floor mosaics. There are numerous steps to climb from bottom to top, making it unsuitable for those with walking difficulties or acrophobia (fear of heights).

• The Temple of Artemis - The final stop is at the Artemission Temple, once one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, before returning to the hotel, Kusadasi town center, and port.

• Setur Kusadasi Marina Carsi - The journey concludes with a drive to the Port through Kusadasi Marina, marking the end of services.
