- Ethnographic Museum of Kruja - This elegant, three-story building with a central tower is surrounded by intricately carved wooden windows of varying sizes, allowing the breeze to circulate freely and creating a delightful sense of openness. Outside, remnants of ancient springs encircle the castle, from which the city’s name is derived (“kroje” means “springs” in Albanian), symbolizing its historical role as an agricultural hub before the rise of trade and artisanal crafts.
- Muzeu Kombëtar Gjergj Kastrioti - The Muzeu Kombëtar Gjergj Kastrioti-Skënderbeu, designed by Pirro Vaso and Pranvera Hoxha, was inaugurated at Kruja Castle on November 1, 1982. The museum is located atop the famous Kruja castle, which was historically the capital of Arberia. The Ottomans suffered significant defeats three times while trying to capture the fortress; however, they succeeded on their fourth attempt.
- Castle of Kruja - The Kruja castle, known as Kalaja e Krujës in Albanian, was the center of Skanderbeg’s rebellion against the Ottoman Empire. Within the castle, you will find the National Skanderbeg Museum, the Teqe of Dollme of the Bektashi Islamic Sufi sect, the remnants of the Fatih Sultan Mehmed mosque and its minaret, an ethnographic museum, and a Turkish bath.
- Fushë Krujë - The Murad Bey mosque (Xhamia Muratbeu) or the Varosh mosque (Xhamia e Varoshit) is an ancient mosque in Krujë, Albania. Built in 1533, it is now recognized as an Albanian Cultural Monument. It is situated in the old Derexhiku Bazaar in Krujë, which was formerly known as Akce Hisar during the Ottoman period. It was constructed by Ottoman Albanian beys.
- Skanderbeg Monument - One of Albania’s most important and popular museums is located in Krujë. Designed in the style of Middle Ages Romanesque architecture and traditional Albanian stone towers, the museum is a monument in itself.
