Bothongo Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve - The journey begins with a drive from your location to the Cradle of Humankind, about an hour from Johannesburg, to the Rhino and Lion Park. On Mondays, the Safari and Lion Park are utilized. The safari, conducted in our vehicle, lasts approximately two and a half hours. This is one of South Africa’s premier private game reserves, offering a great opportunity to see Brown and White Lions, wild dogs (the top wild sighting), cheetahs, rhinos, and many other wild animals. Your guide, Shane, is highly experienced with wildlife and is affectionately known as a bush rat. You will be entertained with the art of bushwhacking. Be sure to ask to see Shane’s viral video of a lion opening a car door. Expect lots of fun and adventure in the bush. This particular game park has been visited by Shane’s clients on Viator, all of whom have given it 5-star ratings. Don’t forget your camera; it will be working overtime.
