• Angkor Thom - The English-speaking guide for the day extends a warm welcome in the hotel lobby, accompanied by a local Tuk Tuk driver, as you set off to the main entrance of the Angkor Archaeological site. For those with an entrance pass to Angkor, the journey proceeds directly to the first stop. Guests without a valid entrance pass will receive assistance from the guide in purchasing one before entering this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The morning begins at the ancient city walls and the documented downtown area of Angkor Thom. Constructed at the end of the twelfth century, Angkor Thom served as the capital city of the Khmer Empire and translates to ‘large city’. It boasts a vast array of sites including the captivating Bayon (with its 200+ smiling faces), Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Elephants, and Jayavarman VII’s palace, although the palace no longer stands.

• Ta Prohm - Following lunch at a local restaurant, Ta Prohm is next on the itinerary. Known as one of the area’s most fascinating and renowned temples, partly due to its appearance in the film Tomb Raider, Ta Prohm is a jungle temple that has remained largely untouched since its discovery. It epitomizes the lost-in-the-jungle temple as strangler figs and kapok trees weave around its ruins, with roots that even split the thickest walls.
• Angkor Wat - The day concludes with a visit to Angkor Wat, arguably the largest religious structure in the world, with a stone volume comparable to the Cheops pyramid in Egypt. Featured on the national flag, Angkor Wat is Cambodia’s ancient temple city and one of the wonders of the oriental world. This masterpiece of decorative details and architectural style is breathtaking, with its five iconic towers reaching into the sky.

The dedicated Tuk Tuk driver will return you to your hotel in the afternoon, where you will bid farewell to both the driver and your guide.

• Return transfers for this excursion apply only / are inclusive for customers staying in and inside Siem Reap.
• Transfers outside these areas, including any accommodation outside this area such as Tonle Sap, Koh Ker, Banteay Srei and Siem Reap International Airport are excluded. Supplements apply for customers who want to join this excursion outside one of these regions.
• The entrance pass to enter the Angkor Archaeological Site is not included during this tour. Guests are responsible to purchase the pass, ranging from one day up to seven day entry passes at the main gate into Angkor. The applicable fees are charged in US Dollars only. The entrance pass gives access to all sights in and around Angkor and should be visible at all times. Children under the age of 12 years old are free of charge for entry; a valid passport must be presented at the booth as proof otherwise normal prices will be levied.
• We will do all possible to comply with any dietary requirements during this excursion; it may not always be possible to confirm your wishes in advance based on the choice of local restaurant.
• Due to the nature of this tour, we regret to inform you that this excursion is not suitable for wheelchair users.
• To avoid any issues pertaining obtaining an arrival visa at the airport, please ensure that your passport contains at least two empty pages. Failure to do so may result in not gaining entrance into the Kingdom of Cambodia.
• Some of the Angkor sights temples and palaces (such as the Baphuon) uphold a very strict dress code: it is essential that you dress appropriately during this excursion by wearing clothes that cover shoulders and fall below the knees. Customers wearing shirts with obscene and disrespectful prints and pictures and brightly-coloured clothing may be refused entrance.
• We always will make efforts to confirm the exact pick-up time upon reservation. For any operational issues in which are not able to confirm the exact pick-up time in advance, we reserve the right to inform you the day before the departure of the tour.
• Natural elements of any kind have a destructive effect on electronic equipment. It the customer’s own responsibility to ensure that any camera, mobile telephone or other device is properly wrapped and protected against these elements. We cannot be held responsible in any way for negligence and/or not following suggestions for any damage related to this.
• Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us on this tour – even when it is cloudy, the sunrays still have an immense power.
• It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 24 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 24 hours may be on request.
• In the event of no-show or change of accommodation without prior consent and confirmation from us within 24 hours may result in the applicable cancellation charges as outlined in the terms and conditions.
• Until further notice, the top two levels of Angkor Thom’s Bayon temple are being reconstructed as part of a large maintenance project. Visitors may only see the faces of the Bayon at the first and second level.
