Angkor guide - Chuop was booked for us by our lodging host so we had no prior information about him or the itinerary he has laid out on Trip Advisor. Therefore the initial communication trying to get plans in place was a bit confusing but everything ultimately worked out. We appreciated having a knowledgeable and passionate guide. As his English hopefully improves he'll be even better and able to share more wisdom. He obviously cares about his clients' experience and wants them to enjoy the tour. We appreciated that he kept a quick pace as we don't like moving slowly and lingering too long. Though he also accommodated our desires to rest (it was very hot) or skip things. Communication/language is the only area for improvement. Chuop is a lovely human being.

Incredible experience in Angkor Wat with Huo Chuop. - I feel that I took the most out of the experience of visiting the temples of Angkor Wat with Chuop. He knows where to take the tourists depending on their interests as well as where the best pictures are. He explains everything perfectly and makes sure that you are comfortable at every time. I highly recommend contacting Chuop because you will leave the activity knowing that anything else could have been done. I’m from Spain and will repeat if I visit in the future.

Private tour in English and Japanese at Angkor Wat - Through the hotel, we participated in a private guide Angkor Wat Asahi viewing tour. Chuop, our guide, speaks both English and Japanese, so even Japanese can participate with confidence.
Mr. Chuop was very knowledgeable about the history and art of the Khmer dynasty, and the commentary on the reliefs he heard, especially in the corridors of Angkor Wat, was very interesting. Ask questions and they will answer anything quickly.
He also knows a lot of photo spots in the ruins that look great, so I recommend him to anyone who wants to take memorable photos (I didn't take many commemorative photos because I was traveling alone … but of course, if you don't want to, just tell him so).
He was a man of integrity, and since he was private, he was flexible, and I enjoyed him with peace of mind. Despite the long hours between 5 and 12pm, the price was a little over 6,000 yen, which was a bit of a pity. Thank you.
