Chong Kneas Floating Village - This tour begins at either 8:00 am or 2:00 pm, based on your preference. The journey will take you to the floating village at Chong Kneas, located just south of Siem Reap town. A guide will accompany you on a boat trip through the floating village, where many Cambodian and ethnic Vietnamese families live on the water. You will witness their daily activities, with markets, schools, clinics, and restaurants all floating on the water.
Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat - The Angkor Wat Small Circuit tour starts early in the morning. You will be picked up before sunrise, around 4:30 am, to enjoy a stunning sunrise at Angkor Wat.
Angkor Thom South Gate - After experiencing the sunrise and exploring Angkor Wat, breakfast will be served before continuing to the ancient city of Angkor Thom.
Entry is through the “South Gate of Angkor Thom” along a long causeway lined with 54 mythical figures believed to protect the city from evil spirits.
Bayon Temple - The first stop is Bayon Temple, located at the center of Angkor Thom. The temple’s numerous giant stone faces are iconic and offer some of the most photogenic views in Siem Reap.
Baphuon Temple - Baphuon, a mid-11th-century temple, is a stunning structure in Angkor Thom. Its name means a hidden temple, and it features three tiers built in a pyramid shape.
Terrace of the Leper King - Next, visit the Terrace of the Elephant and the Terrace of the Leper King before lunch. You can choose to have lunch at a local restaurant near the temples or return to your hotel for a meal.
Ta Prohm - After lunch, visit the “Tomb Raider” temple, known as Ta Prohm. It is one of the most popular temples due to its unique appearance, with the jungle growing through the temple.
Srah Srang - Following this, visit Banteay Kdei Temple, a large, unrestored complex similar in style to Ta Prohm.
Then, proceed to Srah Srang, a large manmade lake known as the “Royal Bath,” to watch the sunset before returning to town.
Siem Reap City Tour
Wat Thmey (Killing Fields) - After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up around 8:00 am. Depending on your preferences or group size, transportation will be provided via tuk-tuk, air-conditioned taxi, or minivan to visit the local Buddhist pagoda, Wat Thmey. Here, you will learn about the Siem Reap killing fields and the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge regime.
War Museum Cambodia - Next, visit the Cambodia War Museum to learn about the civil war and other significant aspects of recent Khmer history. Following this, visit another Buddhist pagoda in the town center, Wat Preah Prohm Rath.
Psar Chaa - Old Market - The tour continues with a visit to the Old Market (Psar Chas), where you can explore a local market and shop for souvenirs.
Finally, visit Artisans d’Angkor to see the revival of local crafts and perhaps purchase a gift or two.
