- Angkor Wat - Guests will be collected from the hotel lobby and transported to Angkor Wat, initially a Hindu and later a Buddhist temple complex in Cambodia, recognized as the largest religious monument globally. Constructed by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century in Yasodharapura (modern-day Angkor), the capital of the Khmer Empire, it served as his state temple and eventual mausoleum. Departing from the Shaivism tradition of previous rulers, Angkor Wat was dedicated to Vishnu. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it has continuously served as a significant religious center since its inception. The temple epitomizes the high classical style of Khmer architecture and is a national symbol of Cambodia, featured on its flag.
- Angkor Thom South Gate - At the South Gate of Angkor Thom, on the left side of the moat, 54 ‘devas’ (guardian gods) pull the head of the serpent ‘Shesha,’ while on the right side, 54 ‘asuras’ (demon gods) pull the serpent’s tail in the opposite direction.
- Bayon Temple - Situated in the center of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple is among the most renowned sites in the Angkor complex. Built in the late 12th and early 13th centuries by King Jayavarman VII, the temple’s architectural grandeur is evident in every detail. Over 200 large faces are carved on the 54 towers, giving the temple its majestic character, representing the 54 provinces of the Khmer Empire. The iconography of the four faces has been widely debated by scholars, with some suggesting they depict the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. In line with the temple’s Buddhist nature, it is generally accepted that the four faces on each tower are images of King Jayavarman VII, symbolizing the king’s omnipresence.
- Baphuon Temple - Baphuon, constructed in the mid-11th century (1060) by King Udayadityavarman II, is dedicated to Shiva (Hindu).
- Phimeanakas - Phimeanakas, built in the late 10th century to the early 11th century by Kings Jayavarman V and Udayadityavarman I, is dedicated to Hinduism.
- Terrace of the Elephants - The walls feature intricate carvings of elephants.
- Terrace of the Leper King - This location was used for treatment.
- Ta Prohm Temple - Ta Prohm (The Ancestor Brahma, Jungle Temple), enveloped in dense jungle, exudes an ethereal and romantic aura. Fig, banyan, and kapok trees extend their massive roots over stones, displacing walls and terraces, while their branches and leaves form a canopy over the structures. Tree trunks twist among stone pillars.
