This group includes three uniquely different temple complexes—Bakong, Lolei, and Preah Ko—which were the first to be built. Constructed with durable materials like bricks and carved plaster, these temples were once expected to be adorned with precious materials and wood. They now stand as the earliest representation of Khmer civilization. The architectural style, decorative materials, and construction techniques of these temples mark the beginning of the Classic Period of Khmer Art. Today, a Buddhist monastery resides in the area, with its saffron-robed inhabitants taking pride in living near such a significant part of Khmer history.

• In the event of no-show or change of accommodation without prior consent and confirmation from us within 24 hours may result in the applicable cancellation charges as outlined in the terms and conditions.
