• Tonle Sap Lake - Going out on the Tonle Sap itself is a deeply calming experience thanks to the still waters meeting the horizon as far as you can see. We round off the day with a drink (and dinner, if you wish) at a traditional floating restaurant to watch the sun set over the lake.

Half-Day Kompong Pluk Floating Village Tour (5 hours)

Tour Departure: 9:00 AM

Begin the tour with a boat ride to visit a pagoda or a vibrant local market that has developed within the floating village. Enjoy a stroll around the stilted buildings, capturing photos and observing the daily activities of residents living in wooden houses. Admire the beautifully crafted wooden houses, some adorned with colorful paint, that are unique to this area. The tour guide will share insights into the authentic lifestyle, habits of the locals, their fishing practices, and the village’s culture. There will be an optional opportunity to take a small boat tour into the serene mangrove forest, available from October to January.

Enjoy the sunset at Tonle Sap Lake, the largest lake in Southeast Asia.

On the return journey to town, explore a lotus farm and drive through a local village along a red dirt road, with a stop to visit a workshop.
