Fascinating tour and great experience - Fascinating tour and great experience. Even though the houses aren't in water during this time of the year. It brings home to you the amazing amount the water rises by each year. Great walking round the village and have a chat with the school children who were so keen to practice their English. Seeing the sunset while out on the lake was lovely as well. Our guide was enthusiastic and shared his knowledge of the area and Cambodia in general.

Beautiful village - Great tour! Enjoyable in the dry season as you see the houses & can imagine how high the water gets. You walk through the forest that is flooded in the wet season. I’d still recommend it in dry season as you see their lives & support them when they have less visitors. Kingkong was such an amazing guide with so much knowledge & had cold water/wipes for us to cool down.

Very informative and great value trip - Great trip to the floating village area of Siem Reap. We were picked up in a timely manner and welcomed by our tour guide and transfered to the central meeting point to be organised into groups. The wait there was quite short and quickly we were directed towards our car for the morning trip. Our guide was very informative explaining things as we drove to our first location the village market. We spent around half an hour walking through, he explained about all the different foods etc on offer. We then proceeded to the village which was dry at this time of year, he explained that all the houses were on stilts and during the rainy season how high the water would rise. We then boarded a small boat and took around an hour to explore the river and lake, stopping at a floating restaurant/ shop for refreshments and shopping etc. Overall the trip was very well organised, informative and interesting. We learnt lots about remote village life and the area. The only slight negative was the car use for our journey was rather old and the air conditioning wasn't that efficient. This trip was great value for money considering it only cost us £18 each, water and cold towels were provided also free of charge

Very good day! - We had a really enjoyable and eye-opening day visiting the floating village. Since it’s the dry season, the water was quite far out and we saw many homes on tall stilts, which gave a different but fascinating perspective on daily life. Our guide explained how the rainy season (June–October) transforms the area, especially in the later months when floodwaters rise. It was inspiring to see how resourceful the local people are running markets, fishing, and drying fish and shrimp despite the changing conditions. The boat ride through the mangroves and out onto the open water was beautiful, especially with the sunset. Watching the fishermen working with their nets and shrimp lines was a highlight. The only part I didn’t enjoy was the stop with crocodiles kept in cages, it felt unnecessary. Overall, it was a great experience. Our guide, Sarun, was very friendly and knowledgeable, which made the tour even better.

It was a shorter than... - It was a shorter than advertise trip. Because the water was low, we could not do the paddle through the mangrove forest as expected. But we spent an hour on the floating restaurant. Surely they could have come up with something else interesting to spend our time in place of that.

Very bad experience. A scam - It's a lie. The floating village is only in the rainy season. We went to live a boat experience across the bridge and instead were made to walk through the puwblo without water for over 1 hour with a hugging sun. A scam!!! They should pay us back.
